Basically, it will be impossible for me to try in November and December due to my job. I wanted to go ahead and join in if I could though?? Maybe I can pick up some tips, and try to be patient for the new year.

Well................a late period was nothing more than AF taking her sweet ol' time and showed up yesterday morning---Darnit I was hoping I was going to get a BFP this month. All I know is this is the WORSE period I have EVER had! There was no one day of spotting or starting lightly it came full force, I'm having excurtiating pain in my lower back. If it doesn't lighten up by tomorrow I will be calling my RE b/c it wasn't like I went months and months without a period, it was only 32 days so my lining shouldn't be that thick right??? On a positive note at least it started and now I can start again! Tomorrow will be CD 3 so I will start taking femara CD3-7 and hope this month is it! Getting ready to order preseed, I'm going to buy a themometer today also and not obsess this month, but try and increase our chances a little bit and not be as laid back with it.
Have a great weekend to everyone and I hope the IUI's work for all of you that had them done!

heartcore--when is your HSG? are you taking Prometrium right now? how is that going?
carrie--thanks for the new thread!
anyone on Femara have crazy dizziness? this is my second day on it and i feel like i am drunk! i'm not sure what to do as this only started this morning and obviously the doc's office is closed. i took it at night and woke up dizzy, should i start taking it in the morning instead? i take 2 pills, so i thought if i took both at night, then i would sleep through any side effects, but not so. any advice?

aufachse405...Welcome! My best advice to you is to start temping on fertilityfriend.com or another like it. We have not been preventing since Jan. and I started temping 3 long cycles ago. Now that we are actively trying I brought my charts to my new doc and he said normally they wouldn't be too worried until 1 year but he could tell that I am not ovulating by my charts. So he put me on clomid right away since he knew that was at least one of the major problems. Now if I O and don't get pg then we will look at DH and HSG. Good Luck!
Shell...You and DH are soooo cute! I love seeing what our cysters look like. I have never taken Ferma but Clomid made me dizzy. I hate that feeling. I hope it goes away soon for you.
Stef...Sorry about AF. I really thought that this would be it for you. Here's to another cycle!
Hope everyone is doing good. Have a great weekend!
~Amber

Carrie--yes, Femara is similar to Clomid in that it makes you O, but it is supposed to have less side effects!

Stef: Sorry about AF!! What a way to start your weekend.
Shellbell: I am on day 4 of a 10 day Provera. As soon as I get my period I'll schedule the HSG which will be somewhere between days 6 and 10 of my cycle. So I'm thinking within the next 2 weeks or so. Im not looking forward to it.
Carrie: To answer your question: Femara (Letrozole) is basically like Clomid except it has less side effects (hot flashes, etc) At least this is what my RE said. I haven't taken Femara yet. She's gonna start me on it in the cycle after my HSG. I told her how much I hated the hot flashes from the Clomid, they were awful!!!
Me and DH worked in the yard all day today. we have friends coming over tonight and I'm soooo tired and almost wish they weren't coming so I didn't have to be the hostess.
Can this monday be labor too!? I like those 4 day work weeks :-)

Oh yeah, I forgot. Does the met make anyone feel a little dizzy at times? I'll be sitting at my desk and I'll get this wave of dizziness but then it goes away. It just makes me stop for a second, sorta feels like a little buzz from a beer.

Does femara have less chance of ovarian hyperstimulation?

Ill be working 60-65 hours a week, and won't see much of DH at all!! Right now Im on Provera (3rd month!) to try and 'jump start' my periods into being regular, and in October, I have an appointment to check if I am ovulating on my own. So we will see how it goes from there. Ive basically been keeping track of my periods and CM for awhile now though, just to see if I can pick up on some patterns. Quote:

Evyn...It used to be a chore but now it is really easy. I have my alarm set for 6:00am so when that goes off I put the thermometer in my mouth until it beeps. Then I just shut it off and go back to bed. When I wake up for the day I grab it and just see what my temp was and enter it into FF either before I go to work or when I am at work. Easy Peasy!
