Hi ladies!! i have a question for those who took Metformin and decided to stop. I have been feeling really "out of it" lately and thinking that it is the Met because I don't remember ever feeling this bad before taking it. For those who stopped it, why did you decide to stop? The only thing I'm concerned about is the reduction in the rate of m/c while taking Met, I'm scared because I have had an early m/c and my RE said that the Met could help to prevent that. any thoughts?

Shell - mine does that too..it's like it gets caught in a loop. So what I have to do is make sure I have my signature the way I want it and that it's not too long. Copy it. Shut down my window, come back to the website, go to User CP, paste it in the signature box and then it works.
It is sort of like...if you sig is too long once, it won't let you try again....hope it helps

Congrats refrain!!

I had a postive OPK test today. Its only CD 11. So I am wondering if it is possible that it is a false positive. I have also do temps this month and it doesn't indicate much this early one either. I think to be safe rather than sorry DH I will b'd anyway! Have a great weekend everyone!

hello ladies, just marking my spot!

congrats refrain.

Rose28 - i wonder the same thing. it seems like everything is perfect and still no BFP! it is so frustrating.

Shell- i stopped metformin. I stopped b/c i was frustrated with TTC and thought that metformin did nothing but make me sick. i didn't suffer with constant stomach issues but i did on occassion esp. when i tried to bump up to 1500mg, which i tried on several occassions. i feel much better off of it. i always felt a bit off while on it, like something was just wrong. if it had regulated my period then i might have stick with it but it did nothing after 6 months. i figure there has to be a better way. some say cinnamon does the same thing. i may try it.

Shell - I have IR and cinnamon has been a huge help for me. I really noticed a difference using that. Mind you, it works best when you eat a proper diet as well. I even heard Dr.OZ back it up on Oprah the other day.

Maybe you can reduce your met dosage?

As for me, I was an emotional wreck this morning! It must have been hormones, I feel much better now.
