KDW, congrats on making it through surgery so well! You are like a super hero, with your one in a trillion tumor!
LucyLadyBug, your luck will change. Just think that the more problems they find means the more it makes sense that things have been so hard, and they can't treat what they don't know about.

kdw - wow. I'm so glad that your surgery went well and you seem to be in good spirits. It's great that you were in such capable hands.
Deb - I'm rooting for you to O soon soon soon.
I am finally over the flu. I can't believe how bad it was -- I haven't been that sick for years! I was like a corpse for three days!! I guess I should've gotten the flu shot, but I was in the 2ww when they came around in November. Oh well. Now it's over and I am happy and healthy again. I actually felt like tap dancing this morning!
I've been getting some weird spotting. I'm 8dpo but I really doubt it's implantation or anything exciting like that. Just some weird brown spotting. I keep thinking AF is coming soon, but that seems like a very short LP. Maybe I didn't O afterall and I'm starting breakthrough bleeding? Well, I guess it gives me something to obsess about on the subway home. [shrugs]

Ginny - Congrats on getting a high on the CBEFM. Sounds like something is cookin'!
Laura32 - LOL about your methods to be safe from the flu. I think you said you live in upstate NY. I imagine you snowed in all the time (like any ignorant downstater worth her salt would assume).

Doolin -- so glad you're feeling better! If it makes you feel less guilty, the flu strains that are going around currently are not covered by the vaccine. So even if you did get the shot, you probably would have gotten sick anyway!

i missed so much girls! i wanted to start my post on the old thread but it was closed, then i got to end and found the link to get here.
Kdw--i'm glad the surgery is over and went well. only 50 cases! wow! praying that the results come back fine.
Ginny--i was going to say that the CBEFM measures LH and estrogen to come up with the results, so i think it's much better than OPKs as far as PCOSers. i always used OPKs though and they worked for me. i hope the monitor works for you!
Deb--get to BDing, sounds like you are about to O.
so i had my 2nd ultrasound today and the doc says everything looks great! we saw that heart thumping away and the baby was SO much bigger. feeling so relieved as they had me nervous last week. apparently DH is having fun telling all his friends that his "boys can swim!" LOL.

Whitney, I have been siiiiiiiick. Up to this point, my pregnancy has been spent at the toilet throwing up---a LOT. Im hoping it will ease up soon. Im really wanting to enjoy being pregnant, instead of feeling sick every day! Thank you for asking!

I just wanted to say hello. I just got back last night from a 4-night getaway in the Bahamas. DH is in grad school and it was his spring break so we decided to take advantage of some airline vouchers we got as a result of an emergency landing we had to make in January when the windshield of the plane cracked.
I decided not to up my Met while I was on vacation because I didn't want to feel sick, so I am just increasing it now to 1500mg. I did try having a few alcoholic drinks, which I was really nervous about after reading some people's experiences on these boards but it was totally fine. I really kept it to one per day though. I'm sort of a crazy rule-follower.
KDW- I am new on this thread but I just wanted to say that you are so brave and I'm glad the surgery went well.
Lucy- I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through.
Happy first day of spring everyone! You know what spring means-- new life!

Ellie -- I like your quote in your siggy. It's hard for me to remember that -- I'm a big worrier and need to learn to let things go when I can't do anything about it.
ry -- glad you had a good vacation! Hopefully you were able to get your mind off TTC stuff for a few days!
Evy -- Darn that you're still sick! Any day now, right?? Hopefully one day soon you'll wake up feeling great and the m/s will be gone for good!
Shell -- congrats on the great u/s! I know we always find things to worry about each step of the way, but hopefully this put your mind at ease for a little while. Are you planning to find out the gender??
