My Mood: Points: 2,677.02 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,677.02 | TXan-I am so sorry ((hugs)). Please let us know what the dr says.
Relka-I'm glad your DH is a good patient. It is not an easy thing to deal with.
Keo and Relka-I'll probably get even mushier
Shell-Great to hear from you!!!
Heartcore-YAY!!!! It is the same one I am doing. I am so happy!!! Doolin's appt is today to see if she qualifies.
Doolin-Where are you?
Tummy-When you are ready...look into the study, please. I went in today to learn how to give myself Lupron so I start that today. I start the stims on 5/8. The dr. thinks that the ER will be between 5/19 and 5/21 so I am just trying to be patient.

My Mood: Points: 30,296.86 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 30,296.86 | TXan -- I'm so sorry. I thought of you this weekend and assumed the worst since you hadn't been on shouting for joy. It really seems not fair when everything is lined up perfectly. We just EXPECT it to work, and it's so crushing when it doesn't. Eat some chocolate -- it really helps (a little).
Shell -- thanks . How are you feeling?
Springtime -- I just hope the study is still going on when I'm getting around to it. If this is an ectopic or m/c, I will most likely have to take at least a month off if not more. They may be full by then! Well, hopefully whatever is going on inside me is going to stick (to my uterus, not my tube) and it won't be an issue...
Doolin -- can't wait to hear about your consultation!

Tummy- I'm so sorry that you're on such a roller coaster right now. I really hope that you'll get good news when you see your doctor.
TXan- so sorry that this cycle didn't work for you ((hugs))
As for me, I finally got the results from my bloodwork, and everything is normal! Hooray! My FSH and LH levels were good, and my inhibins were back down to where they should be for a premenopausal woman. I've got the all clear to get back to TTC. Unfortunately, I think I might have already o'd this cycle. I had EWCM on cd 8 and 9 and my temps have been up the past two mornings. This is the first cycle I've tried temping. I figured I'd give it a try since I'm not on any meds right now, so I'm not being monitored.

You really seem to be holding yourself together, which I am rather in awe of. When is the WTF consult? Do you think you'll switch clinics? Take good care of yourself in these coming weeks. And know that we're all here for you. (((hugs))) Keo and Relka - I am so with you on this weather. I even made the mistake of leaving my umbrella at my appt this AM, so I had to traipse all over not one, not two, but THREE boroughs today between meetings all soggy and sniffly and generally foul.
So who knew the NYC girls had so much in common? Best of luck to both of you working things out and hopefully you can find a comfortable medium. And if you figure out the "right" way to handle it, let me know. Seriously. I know I am going about this all wrong, but it (rejection, hurt, dissatisfaction)was so pent up in me it was ruining our marriage. I didn't even realize how bad it had gotten until I found I was enjoying flirtations from other men just a little bit too much. Ooph. I knew then I had to put the kibosh on that and get to talking about what was happening between us. Relentlessly. Like a rabid animal. Relka, I have so much hope for you this cycle. I really hope it works out. Many women have fantastic success with injectibles. HOWEVER, please please please look into the IVF studies at RMA NJ. Apparently, they have a bunch. It is totally a pain in the ass to get there (I know, I did it today), but the study that springtime (and hopefully heartcore!) is involved in will only cost like $5000. They told me today that they have another study where you'd only have to pay about $1000 (but spots are limited and I totally suspect they expect you to donote your liver in the end). We could cycle together and get a girl pad in sunny downtown Morristown (haha). Whitney - I hope upon hope upon hope that this is it for you. A note to BABY TUMMY: stay clear of those tubes -- it's much too cramped. Make sure you're nice and snuggled in in the oh-so-luxurious and welcoming ute. It's like friggin Park Avenue!
Really, though, I don't mean to make light of this. i cannot imagine how nerve racking this must be. Hang in there! Springtime - grrrrl, how's that cycle going? How are you handling the lupron? You made me LOL about the TTC science experiment. I am a data fiend (I'm an engineer!) with charting and monitoring and OPKs and CBEFM. It's endless. The new RE recommended I give up charting and I nearly flipped. I think she took my shear enthusiasm for gathering data as some kind of pathological obsession. HA HA ha ha h? It's totally normal, right? ;-)

Does anyone else really love the initial consults? I was pretty lame at my first one (at Cornell) b/c I was stunned about PCOS, learned a bunch at my second (at St Luke's), and was just loving my third (today at RMA NJ). I don't know: two hours of talking about yourself and learning why things are the way they are ... it's just so gd interesting!

Txan-So sorry to hear about you BFN. So, you seem to be holding up so well. Does your ins. cover IVF?
Heartcore-AWESOME for you!
Kdwg8r-Oh you have to be SO relieved! Glad to know you back in the TTC game. So what is your game plan for this next cycle?
Doolin-Glad your appt went so well. Your humor cracks me up!
Well ladies I hate OPK's with a passion and no wonder I don't use them consistently every month. I've been using them for about 4 days and yesterday the test line was dark, but not darker than control. So I was thinking ok then today would be the magic positive day. Nope and not only nope, but hell no not even close. The test line was way negative. So not sure what to think about it. Did I mention I HATE OPK's. Oh yeah and look at my temps.....all over the place. Well the high temp of 98.5 probably should be thrown out b/c I was out partying it up with my DH squad until 4:00am so not accurate reading FOR SURE! I'm wondering if this means no O this month..........better not or I'm going to not sure what but it probably won't be good!

I am the same about charting (except right now, since I wouldn't know how to interpret anything). But if someone told me to give it up, I'd be completely lost. I'm excited for you about the study! Can't wait to find out, but I'm sure you'll be accepted.
Kdw -- YAY for your normal bloodwork!! Maybe this really is your PCOS cure! I hope you didn't O already, but if so at least you had a natural O and you will again??
Well, I was supposed to go see my RE tomorrow for an u/s but they called me this evening and cancelled it -- she said it's too early to see anything, either in the tube or the uterus, so it would be a waste. I will have another beta, but no u/s until May 9. Sheesh. Unless I get some crazy pain that might indicate an ectopic, I think I'm going to be in limbo for another week and a half at least. Aaaaaaaaack!

Tummy - I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time right now - it must been so hard not knowing what's going on. I really hope this is just a shaky start for you, and that it will work out for you after all. Anyways, you are such a role model in how you deal with such difficult times. Txan - I feel your frustration... we know nothing is for certain, but I would be like you - wanting to know what went wrong. I hope your doctor has some good advice about what to do next. Deb & Stef - I hope clomid is doing it's job for the 2 of you!
And hi to all the others too!!
Me... I'm on CD3, and I still haven't decided if I should do days 3-7 or 5-9. My doctor said it's up to me, and that it doesn't matter - but for some reason I can't decide. I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm thinking I'll do 4-8 becuase it's in between, but somebody please tell me if that doesn't sound like a good idea.
I took advantage of the fact I was in the States last week too... I bought some mucinex (not sold in Canada) and a basal thermometer (haven't been able to find one here), so I'm all set!
