| GL Stacey - hope that you O!
Well girls, don't think I O'd or will O in the next few days. My chart is in my siggie. Oh well.
I got really excited because I realized that if I did O and get pg, then the baby would be born right before my bday. I even told DH who joked that then he wouldn't need to get me a present cause the baby would be it. Oh well.

My Mood: | BFN for me today. Stopping the progesterone and waiting for AF. I will talk with my doctor later to see if she thinks I qualify and should do the IVF Duramed study. Not sure what else to do at this point. I'm so tired of this.
Not in the mood for posting today, just wanted to give you all the update. More when I feel better.

| Oh, Keo, I'm so sorry. That really sucks. I get the same thing: my body seems to start and stop throughout my cycle. Like it almost gets the idea of what it's supposed to do, but then get distracted and forgets what it was doing. (btw, the cycle before it, although not good for TTC, is a very impressive curve...)
Stacey - I'd hold off on the provera too. Good luck!
Deb - I hope 150mg is "your dose"!
Springtime - Are you going to take lupron? What is your stim protocol? (I'm very excited to finally be learning all of this!)
Thanks for the insight yesterday, ladies. DH is not too keen on TTC this cycle b/c we're still in that 3-week post-op demilitarized zone and he can tell I still have some pain (which I was trying unsuccessfully to hide). Oh well. It's always a crap shoot whether and when I am going to O, so I like to take advantage of it whenever I can... but I suppose it's not in the cards this cycle. [shrugs]

| Oh Whitney - I didn't see your post before. I'm so sorry. The study seems like a no brainer. I'm sure you've done your research (you always seem so informed), but here's a link to the basic requirements from the RMA NJ clinics: http://rmanj.com/pdf/studies/ivfprog...esuppstudy.pdf
Laura32 - I keep giggling about my hubble scope innards being spray painted on the side of an early-80s conversion van. Glad the good weather has finally reached you. I think of enduring winter in upstate counts as time off from purgatory. (jk - the pope's in town!)

| Hi everyone!!! Tummy-I am so sorry. ((HUGS)). When you're ready, please ask me any questions about the study. Doolin-I start the Lupron on 4/28. I have been taking bcp to regulate my cycle and will start then. Then, I will do Menapur and Bravelle. I also got a discount on the meds because of the study. When I went to pick it up, I was stunned. The first time around, I used the Follistim pen for my IUIs. For the IVF, the lady brought out a bin of stuff. She asked me if I was alright when she saw my face. Are you in the study too?????? Oh yeah, thanks for the gift Keo-How frustrating!!!! AAAGHHHH!!!! Deb-Hope tis dose works.
Hi to everyone I missed!

| Tummy - I'm so sorry about your disappointing news. That really, really sucks. I really hope you qualify for the IVF so you can get that BFP as soon as possible. Like Doolin said, you are so knowledgable - I know you will make the right decision about what to do next.

My Mood: | Thanks, guys, for all your support. It really means a lot to me. Just got the call back on my beta. It's 11.3. So it's probably a chemical pregnancy. I'll go back on Thursday for a repeat. Very small chance that it was late implantation, but doubtful. Is it weird that I'm sort of relieved? I feel like it's a small step forward, but at least I know something works, right?
Anyway, sorry for the ALL ME posts lately. I haven't had a chance to catch up. Just wanted to give you all the update. I'll do personals later, I promise!

| WHITNEY! I HOPE HOPE HOPE it is late implantation. That would be incredible.
But I know what you mean about it being some kind of relief even if it is a chem PG. I've never had a BFP of any kind, so I always feel like I'm revving my engine in neutral. Of course, m/c is awful (and I do not mean to minimize that at all), but I think I'd feel a little relieved to know that they at least made contact. Best of luck to you. We're all pulling for you. Springtime - I have my consult next Monday (the day you start Lupron!) and I think I'll find out if they'll take me then. I'm a little anxious. I anticipate that I'll O tomorrow, which would mean I should start lupron 4/29 or 4/30 if I want to start this cycle. I know I should wait a cycle and it is unreasonable for me to expect to start so soon, but getting all the scripts from my clinic last week has my mind abuzz with starting ... and it might be nice to cycle together, right?
My last clinic was going to put me on gonal-f. I don't know what the new one will recommend.
I am going to keep you in my thoughts and I hope you don't get all the gross lupron s/e's that I keep hearing about. Good luck! Laura32 - your avatar kills me.

| Tummy - so sorry the results weren't what you were hoping, but it seems you have found the silver lining.
Doolin - good luck with the clinical trial! Sounds like you'll be starting soon.
My interest was piqued with talk re: the clinical trial, but alas it seems I am over the age limit. Just have to wait to see how this current cycle went. I was a little bummed that my "banner" retreival did not yield any embryos that would make it through freezing.

My Mood: | tummy: thats how i felt when I had my chem preg...at least i could sorta get preggo. I'm sorry you also had to go through this. Don't be alarmed if AF this time around is a bad one...mine was pretty bad. I hope you get approved for the IVF study.
As for me,
I'm very confused. I POAS yesterday even though I said I wouldn't (I've become quite the addict in the past 16 months) and after about 15 min there was a VERY VERY faint line. It was Target brand so I want to write it off as an evap line. (It said not to read it after 10 min) Anyway last night I noticed my nipples were sore and today they are even more sore but I haven't tested again, partly because I don't want to be let down for the millionth time and I'm just tired of POAS. I've never had sore nipples before any ideas?
