nothing new with me. the weather is gorgeous in NYC. oh and my nipples are sore and my right ovary is still achy.

I haven't talked to my dr at all, I guess she's waiting for my beta tomorrow to call me back. I am def going to request 2 IUIs this time, if the timing works out with DH's work. I'm also hoping she won't start me on 50 IU again -- surely she'll put me on 75 at least to start. I can't take another 28 days of stimming! Anyway, assuming my beta drops tomorrow, I'll try to talk with my dr to solidify the plan.
Are you doing progesterone suppositories? Oh the joy.
It is HOT in Texas. Highs are already in the high 80's. Spring was fun while it lasted.

My Mood: Points: 5,140.32 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 5,140.32 | Well, I can't say I've noticed much difference with the Inositol, but just like anything else, I'm sure it takes some time. I've been on it for around two months. I have noticed more EWCM (I didn't have any when I was on the pill, which makes sense, and I didn't have any in the year I went off the pill and didn't have AF), so I'm hoping it's helping.
Tummy, what's the 50 or 75 IU mean? I don't know anything!

Tummy-Lupron is to enhance follicular development and prevent ovulation. Yeah right, like that would happen anyway. I think that they are probably doing it as a protective measure since they are spending so much on the study. I will start that 4/28 and then start the stim 5/8. They think my ER will be sometime between 5/19 and 5/21. Lucyladybug-I am sorry for what you are going through and that you feel alone. However, it kind of is insulting when you mention that others haven't dealt with things like this. As a psychologist, the books I have read say that grief can last anywhere from 6 months to a year. Now, in this case, you have the IF stressor which is an ongoing thing. I would really encourage you to speak to someone.

Whitney - I'm sorry this looks chem. ((hugs)) Are you going to get a 2nd beta?
Heartcore - it's not over till AF shows, but I know how disappointing those temp drops are. Are you below your coverline?
Relka - I hope you feel better. Sounds like you've got a strong CL going ... I hope it's a good sign.
Laura32 - When does DH start his next tour?
Update on me: my temp started climbing this AM and I had a super dark +opk, so I think I o'd. I convinced DH to BD, even though we prob missed the window, but 3 wks and no relations has left me on edge. This was not so smart b/c now my belly has been aching all day. DH thinks I'm still healing and shouldn't have messed with it; I think it's from the glucophage (I just started 1000mg on Monday). Regardless, as Relka points out, it is gd be-a-u-ti-ful out in NYC, so I stayed home from work, rested the belly, and took a nice slow walk in the park. Not too shabby. :-)
Hope you're all doing well!

IU stands for international units. doolin- geez 1000mg to start. i started with 500mg of met. 1000mg to start is enough to tear your stomach up. i wait a minimum of a week before increasing doses by 500mg. i'm only up to 1000mg, but will increase to 1500mg if i get a BFN. metformin is no joke. it can make you feel like absolute pooh if you're not careful. anyway, i'm glad you O'd and hope that maybe you did catch an eggie. kdwg- how are you? lucyladybug- hang in there. you'll be back in the TTC game soon. when do you leave for vegas? you should really live it up there and chase your worries away even if it is just for a bit. i'm planning a vacation for June or July and i can't tell you how much i am ready to just escape and leave all my worries behind for a few days.

My Mood: Points: 5,140.32 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 5,140.32 | Doolin, DH leaves for sunny Iraq this October. It's his first deployment, and I am am starting to get a little stressed, but I try to remember that me freaking out about it is pointless and won't help anything, so I don't, plus I would not want to add to his stress by making him have to worry that I'll be OK (which I will; I'm going back down to Tennessee to be near both our families).
Your day sounds nice, except for belly pain. What do you do for a living, if you don't mind sharing (though you may have already said)?

Heartcore -- totally BD. That would be great if you're Oing now! No, not really nervous about the beta. I've pretty well convinced myself it's not good news, so I've come to grips with that. I will be REALLY surprised if it's gone up, and honestly a little worried that it might be an ectopic if that's the case.

My crazy DH is a once a week type of fellow, which seems like would be perfect for a whole lot of women, but I'm a 2 or 3 time a week sort of lady, so I'm always nagging him! In his defense, though, he does have to get up and leave for work at 4 AM. He's got a lot more "oomph" when he's on vacation!

Laura32-That has to be such an uneasy feeling knowing he is leaving in a matter of months. My DH was just gone for a week and will be leaving on the 4th for another week and I fill lost when he is gone for that short amount of time. Couldn't imagine! (DH keeps reminding me though that with hurricane season coming that he could be called out for several weeks at a time...hope not!)
Doolin-Hope the BDing and achy belly is worth it at the end of the cycle :-)
Relka-I hear ya about the vacation.......I just told DH today that we are leaving the day I get out of school for 7 days on a vacation to TN. His parents have a vacation cabin up there so I told him to go ahead and put in for his time off! That is of course if gas doesn't go up to $6 a gallon before then.................$3.69 here in ol' south florida!
Hello to everyone else! This board has just been aWeSoMe lately............I've been on here for awhile (too long....sorry girls but do love all of you, but would like to graduate to the expecitng board) and for awhile it was just the same old group of us and a lot of them (all of them for that matter except Kdwg8r who has been hanging on here with me for awhile) have graduated and it is so great for them to be "replaced" by so many of you caring ladies!
I made it through the baby shower today and I felt kinda bad b/c the mom to be was opening gifts and a group of us were sitting on the couch (who all konw about my IF) and they were so focused on me and what my current meds are and what not and I felt bad b/c they weren't paying any attention to the mom to be even after I tried to get their attention off of me. I think they knew the baby shower made me kinda sad so they were just trying to be nice, but I still felt bad.
