Doolin-I must have missed something b/c I see that it says your lap shows damaged tubes.......what is wrong with them? My RE says my rt tube is screwy and all 3 RE's have told me something wasn't 100% normal about it and I NEVER have got a straight answer of what causes a damaged tube. Did they talk about talking it out at all b/c that was the plan for my rt tube during my lap but surgeon said it wasn't bad enough to take out.

Lucy - I'm sorry you are going through so much pain. I hope you can find someone to talk with about it so you won't feel so alone.
Heartcore - Sorry about the BFN
Doolin - Yay for Oing.
Oh Stef - I can understand why you would feel bad, but it's nice they were being sensitive to what you were going through dealing with IF.

I'm still having quite a bit of pus at my incision. Turns out it's from the dissolvable stitches that were used inside. Apparently my body doesn't deal with these stitches the way it's supposed to. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, those stitches never completely dissolved, and had to be cut out after about a month. Anyway, the ones I have now are starting to work themselves to the surface, so hopefully this will clear up soon. It's not painful, and not infected, but still really gross! I'm still waiting on the results of my blood work. I'm not allowed to ttc until my inhibin levels are normal again. If I have another 30 day cycle this time around, and actually ovulate, then next week is when we'd need to bd. Hopefully I'll get the results soon so that this cycle won't be wasted.
Stef- I hear you about being ready to graduate...lol. Our time will come, too (You too Heartcore!). It's so hard to be patient, though. Not that it's not bad for everyone else, though!

We should all strive to be as unselfish. I hope you graduate from here soon, too, but I hope you come back and chill with us when you're pg!

LOL, a trillion points! kdwg- oh, i hope you get the all clear to BD. thats's wonderful that your cycles are more regular. deb- how is clomid going?
i hope we ALL graduate like NOW. no actually, i wanted to graduate months ago to the expecting boards. no seriously, our BFP's can't be too far away. |

It is time for some BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I'm sure I'll be talked about in the teacher's lounge how all the attention was on me and what not. Yes going to baby showers really can be torture for the soul!
I ordered my OPK's Sun and they still aren't here.........hope they are here today b/c today is CD10 so I wanted to start using them today. And I'm still keeping up with my temps...YAY for me......
I'm just praying I atleast O b/c 2 years ago did two rounds of 50mg clomid and didn't even O! The DR did order a CD21 prog. check so atleast I will know early in cycle if I O'd instead of the sit and wait and guess game.
I told DH from last night til CD 20 we will BD every other night b/c I still think that is one of the issues for us is that we didn't properly time BDing properly.

My Mood: Points: 30,276.28 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 30,276.28 | Heck, I seriously don't even go to baby showers. Just can't take it. I have one coming up in a couple of weeks and I've made an excuse. Luckily none of my close friends has had one (then I'd feel obligated). I'm sure everyone knows why I don't show up, but I would hope they'd understand. I went into Babies R Us to get the woman a gift off her registry so I could send a gift anyway, and that was pure torture. Next time I'll do it online.
No news yet -- I'll give an update when they call me with my beta.

Points: 2,166.30 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,166.30 | Hey Ladies
I just came home from my RE appointment. I received some good news - yet somehow still feel frustrated.
First of all - my husband't most recent sperm test came back really, really good. Which is awesome, of course. It is also kind of surprising since they said he was in pretty rough shape on the last test. The fact that there can be such a big change makes me wonder about the accuracy of these tests at all.
Secondly, my RE doesn't think I have PCOS. My ultrasound and blood work are not pointing to PCOS and she is having me do more tests....on my adrenal glands. She was kind of vague about what my problem might be and said she didn't want to make any predictions until she had these test results in her hands. So....more waiting for me. She had no idea how long it will take to be scheduled for this test because she said it is rare that she has to run it. Hopefully it won't be months....who knows though. I am disappointed as it has been 6 months of no ovulation and wanting to get pregnant. I would just like to think I could have a chance at getting pregnant rather than waiting even longer to be able to try a treatment. But oh well.....at least my doctor is trying to figure things out.
Anyhow, can I still be in the group even if I end up having something other than PCOS? I find it so comforting to be in touch with other women who have period/TTC issues even if our issues may be caused by something different. I feel like I am in high school again hoping that I don't have to go find new friends. ha ha.

My Mood: Points: 30,276.28 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 30,276.28 | Laura06 -- OF COURSE you can still hang around. That's great about your DH's s/a. Maybe the first one was like my DH's cryo sample where he missed the cup on the first squirt (that's the part that has the most/best sperm). Anyway, the improvement is great news! As for your diagnosis, what pointed them towards PCOS in the first place? What are your symptoms? What do your ovaries look like on u/s? I think there's someone else on this board who thought for a while she had PCOS and ended up getting diagnosed with an adrenal problem, so I guess they can overlap. I'll be interested to hear your results!

What the heck?? So that's it?? She said to call if severe cramping or red blood, but mild cramps/spotting is normal (which I've had today). I don't want to get my hopes up, since this is a low start, but I'll be POAS every day until my sono. Not sure what to think!

They are supposed to double every 2-3 days so it looks like you either O'd later than you thought or you implanted late. But your HCG is doubling at the right rate! Those stupid test sticks don't pick up anything under 25!
Congrats!!!
