sorry about the BFN stef but congrats on the temp jump again. definately could be a good sign. especially since your P4 was so high.

gahh i'm so interested to know what mine was. i still wont even know until the 19th when i see my dr.

well AF is due in the morning (although my LP last cycle was 13 days not 14)
my nips are KILLING me today, they feel like they have shards of glass in them! and the whole of my boobs feel bruised.they dont feel swollen now since yesterday but DF said to me today that they are definately bigger (i am only just a B cup so its easy to tell).he told me they looked sore, and i was like! arrre youuu serioussss? haha of course they are damn sore! try them for a day.
ive had weird feelings down there all day again too. not quite cramping, i dont know what to explain it with...like it feels like burning for a bit, honestly it feels like everything feels very "raw" in there, like raw skin.(thats souds starge sorry lol) from my belly button to my pubic bone.
i have my test ready to test tomorrow AM.
hopefully something comes up. i'm trying to decide to POtheS or in a cup first and dip.

also, a question i have been wondering alot about the last few days??
when you POAS do you let the first bit out and take it mid stream or just go from the word go?
i know my GP always went midstream in the surgury. but i dont know what you should do at home?
TIA

Stef - That's great your temp went back up. Is FF saying implantation dip? Did you look at other pg charts with implantation dip to see what they looked like. Sorry about the BFN, but if you did just implant, it should take a bit to show up on the HPT.

Stacey - I go from the get-go just cuz sometimes you miss the stick a few times..hehe

Another low on the monitor today..I'm bummed..the lines on the stick did look darker, so praying for a high tomorrow. My OPK was negative last night, but the line is getting darker.

My temp has been stuck at 97.5 for a ton of days. When I temp an hour later, it usually is 97.6..just trying to make sure it works. Maybe I'll look in Target to see if they have anymore..

Stef and Stacey - looks like you're still in the game. I have a girlfriend who didn't test pos till 15dpo. Some people just implant late. Both of you have gorgeous charts. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Deb - FWIW, the first cycle I o'd using CBEFM, it started giving me highs early (CD 7, day of last clomid pill) and they lasted for about a week before peak. Subsequent cycles, it "learned" and I got highs on CD9-13 and only had highs for 2-4 days. That being said, it's also neglected to give me peaks when I have o'd on other cycles, so who the heck knows. I hope the other signs (fert CM, etc) start kicking in soon.

TXan - is the procedure you're talking about the one where they "plow" your lining? (Am I making that up? That's how I recall you described it, but I could be way off.. and, if so, sorry for being so inept!) It is fantastic that you are having all of this looked at/treated. Seriously. You absolutely do not need another heartbreaking cycle and, wow, this Dr is really addressing everything. I am so happy for you and I have so much hope for you. :-)

RE Bathing suits: I have turned into a bikini girl. I was a competitive swimmer and an ocean lifeguard, so I was always all about the sturdy one-piece. But I am long-torsoed and they were always riding up, so I tried tankinis and bikinis. I find for me, because of my complete lack of boobage, that ridiculously expensive teeny bikinis look best (yes, the ones with the strings you tie yourself!). I think all other styles pull the suit too taut and make my little friends completely disappear. However, when I plan to go real swimming in the ocean, I wear a surfing rash guard and a sturdier bottom.

Relks - good luck this weekend!! How exciting. Those follies seem good and strong. And I totally hear you about other people's "good news". Lately, I've been having this reaction like, "you mean they conceived in their OWN BED?" The unnatural aspect of this wearing on me and I feel very jealous of all those happy, earth mother, fertile types.

Heartcore - yay! Sounds like everything is moving along swimmingly. Geez, surprise insurance coverage is like a dream come true! I also had my mock transfer yesterday, but mine was much less involved. Now I'm starting to doubt the Dr again. LOL

Whitney, KDW, Springtime - how are you??

Hi to everyone else!

AFM, I am loving metformin. I know this sounds strange, but my body feels more regulated. Excess hair growth has slowed, my face isn't as greasy, my skin looks better. It's like everything is more ... stable. So, despite my "absolutely normal" b/w and no indication of IR, I think Met is the drug for me. Who knew?
I had my mock transfer yesterday. I decided hold off on talking to the RE about my issues with my treatment until we can sit down and talk in his office (a week from Tuesday). It's a difficult enough convo for me to have, that I don't think I need the added element of having a catheter threaded up my hoo-ha to punctuate the point. I do have a question for the IVF girls: did you have (or will you have) u/s guided ETs? I think Cornell just does it like an IUI, which I am surprised about. I have crummy tubes, so I am thinking of requesting an u/s guided ET so they can aim it away from the tubes (and possibly reduce chances of ectopic?) -- mind you, this is my personal theory about how these things work and is in no way based in reality. :-)

[panting] Ok, I think I've gone on and on much too much. Have a great day, ladies!

Doolin - I did have u/s guided embryo transfers..I can't imagine them doing one without it. Good to ask the Dr. about it.

stef- i don't think your temp would be impacted that much by taking it earlier or lack of sleep. with your temp going back up i think your chances for a BFP are great. if you did implant on the day of the dip then it may take another couple of days for you to get a positive on even an early detection HPT. i think most need you to have a beta of 10-20. i know how hard this chart watching is. hang in there it looks good.

deb- it is still early for an O with clomid even though you did O early last time. i like that you are BD'ing every other day. even if you do O early you won't miss it.

doolin- i hope things go well on Tuesday! would you then do IVF next cycle?

AFM, i triggered this morning and plan to do an IUI on Sunday. I may also do one on Monday if my insurance authorizes it. my follies were 17 and 18. not sure if DH and i will BD b/c once again he's having issues. i can only laugh b/c it is getting ridiculous. right now i'm just hoping he can get enough out for the IUI. i've given up on a normal sex life.

how is everyone?

stacey- your chart is looking great too. sore boobs could be a very good sign. when i poas i do try to catch the first drops of urine. but what do i know!

Well, I have missed a ton!!!

Doolin-Like Deb, my ET will be guided by US. I will not have a mock though. I'm glad that the met is making you feel better.

Stef and Stacey-Fingers crossed! It might still be too early.

I am so sorry that I can't keep up with all the personals. More later....I promise.

Relka-Yay for the follies. I'm sending you tons of vibes.

AFM, my E2 went from 908 (Wed) to 3256 (Fri) in 2 days! WOWZA! I go back tomorrow to see if I trigger tomorrow and then the ET would be Tuesday.

As for bathing suits, I have a bikini that you tie the strings to (doolin) but I always feel so exposed. I'm also paranoid that one little pull and the whole world will see my goods. Come to think of it, for the past few years while TTC, the whole world (pretty much) has seen my goods. LOL! I now stick to a regular bikini.

Have a great weekend ladies.

Hi all! I wasn't in a posting mood yesterday, but I've been reading. Not that I'm depressed or anything, just lazy

Stef -- that totally looks like an implantation dip to me. Agree that the test won't be positive until a day or 2 after implantation, so no worries about the BFN yesterday. Try again tomorrow!!

Stacey -- best bet is to pee in a cup and dip. That way if you want to do multiple sticks (like I do) you can use the same pee. Plus if you're nervous your hand might shake and you'd miss the stream! As for letting some out first, don't bother. That's only necessary for a urine dip for an infection, to avoid contamination with your skin cells. The hormone will be evenly distributed in all your pee

Relka -- yay for the trigger and iUI!! I hope DH is up to the task, esp if you do 2 IUIs. It's so tough. I'm serious about using adult films. Our baby is definitely going to be conceived with pornography. Sorry, Jesus.

Doolin -- so glad Met is working for you!! Ugh, I wonder once again if I should give it another shot. I am so torn about that crap! When do you start stimming?

Keo -- itchy belly button is from the incision -- healing = itching. Pretty weird!

Heartcore -- I had the full bladder thing once when a teenager looking for ovarian cysts. AWFUL. They gave me a big cup and told me to fill it up and then stop. I did that and was still really full. I think there was probably a gallon of water in there.

Okay, more later...

stef: what a rollercoaster! Can't wait until you test again!

stacey: can't wait to hear your results either!

relka: good luck with your IUI!! I was always so excited when I was doing my IUIs!!!

doolin: I think my ET is u/s guided. But I'll have to reread my paperwork again to make sure.

Springtime: Have you been assigned your study drug yet? When I was at the RE's yesterday, they made me sign new release forms b/c some women were saying that they were getting toxic-shock syndrome symptoms from the ring. I was hoping to get the ring, but now I hope to get the gel. Is your E2 level still ok?? That sure skyrocketed!

Me~My uterus is a little sore today but it could be from all the action down there yesterday. Spotting a little today!

well AF was due today and nothing. not a single spot.
i ahve however....been sooooooooooo ILL ALLLLL day long!
seriously since i ate breakfast.
i ahvent felt this ill in ever. i feel like i am going to throw up but i'm not.
ive had cramping all day long, and my stoomach is so tight, like i have done 100 sit ups.
i feel terrible i really do.
i just have constant pain down there all the time now. (not unbearble, just noticable and uncomfortable) like i know something is happening...good or bad, something is going on.
i cried 3 times again today.i gagged at the apple juice again like i did this morning, i cant eat much now, but i'm hungry.
i have alot of gas now.
and my CP is high and soft????

my nips...OMG OMG they are so so so sore. this was one of the things i cried about today lol. i cried to DH about then hurting so much.
and i actually got alot of lower back pain today...but again, no sign of AF at all.
ive had a significant increase in CM though. it constantly feels "wet" down there now.
i didnt buy anymore test so i cant test tomorrow AM... it will drive me crazy lol.

thats my update.

stacey- you should definitely have a beta done. if no AF then you may be pregnant, and you symptoms are promising. i hope this is it for you!

tummy- i really don't know what will happen with TI and IUI's. my head is spinning, but read my update below and you'll see why? how are you doing?

springtime- wow, that is a really high E2! i hope that means this cycle is going WELL!

deb- any news on possible O.

how is everyone else?

AFM, we had questionnably successful TI yesterday, as in i don't know if any sperm got in there. today we have IUI. i temped and my temp was up so once again i think I O'd before the IUI. i will see if i can get them to do a u/s today b/c if that is the case then i may need an IUI at 12 hours and 36 hours after trigger. it annoys me that they don't check automatically b/c the success of IUI is all about the timing. i did read that O can happen anywhere between 12-48 hours post trigger. and the egg lives 12-24 hours after it is released, but if my egg is on the shorter side then this IUI is a waste of time. to make matters worst, while DH did try hard yesterday, some very hurtful things were said to me. i don't know if it is just IF pressure or if IF has simply given him the platform to express how he feels. either way i am not very happy today and really feel like packing a bag and heading away for a few days to sort things out. so much to think about! but i have to hold myself together today and get through a family brunch, which is my family so it is wonderful, but i don't want them to see my pain. so i'll have to work on keeping a smile on.

Springtime - good luck with the ER and ET!!
Are you planning on transferring 2 embryos?

Wow Stacey - I can't believe you didn't get more tests with all those symptoms.

Relka - oh, I'm sorry dear..hugs

AFM, my temp dropped today and my OPk was darker last night, but my FM still says Low..that's making me depressed.

Deb-Hopefully your FM will show high SOON to match temp and OPK.

Relka-IF can really take a toll on marriages.....I know there was a period of about 6 months when DH and I first started down this stressful road and it really wore on our marriage. You need to find away to destress by yourself!

Stacey-OMG I'm going to be SHOCKED if you get a BFN in the AM b/c those signs are sure promising!

Good luck to all you girls with your IVF trials! Looks like there is a lot cooking in that area!

Hi to everyone else!

AFM, temp went way back up again this AM. But still not ANY symptoms of pregnancy so not sure what to think . Will test tomorrow AM again and see what it shows. I forgot to mention that my beta came back on Fri (it was drew on Wed) as a 2 which the nurse said is neg. But if that dip in my chart does really mean something than that would make sense. DH had alot of hope this cycle, but when my temp dipped he lost all hope as I did as well. He also says there is no way I could've implanted while having this funk sickness...just the slight sore throat still and a HORRIBLE cough and a little sneeze here and there. He said "How in the hell is something going to implant in you when every 5 mins you are coughing up a lung." He is so funny! But lets hope he is wrong!
