Yay for O Stef!!

Well, in the continuing saga of my crazy body, AF is here today...according to FF, this is only 8 days after I ovulated. I am so messed up..it's either that or I ovulated on cd8..but that seems completely crazy. I'm going to call my OB today and tell them that I think my LP was super short and would them give me another round of 150 clomid with some progesterone suppositories. I hope they will. I actually mentioned progesterone to him before we started the clomid and he told me the clomid usually helps with that...guess not.

However, on a good note..if I did actually O on clomid, that could be a good thing if the progesterone is a fixable issue. The sad thing is I have natural progesterone cream at the house..but I didn't think to use it since I was never sure I O'd.

deb boo to AF. but really as crazy as it sounds i truely think looking at your chart that you did O on cd8. its been done before.
are you able to take it later than 5-9? maybe that will help?
i hope you get another round of clomid to help again.

Stef - great news about your O. Yay!

Deb - Sounds like a good idea with the progesterone... because you don't normally have AF on your own do you? i.e. you can be pretty certain you did respond to this dose of clomid right?

Last night I got the "fertile day 1" signal on my OV watch. According to the watch, I should be getting an estrogen surge in the next day or so, followed by the LH surge, then should O around CD 15/16. I'm not sure if I'm following the typical pattern though... cause I still have "creamy" CM. I hope it's not giving me false hope!

deb: At least you got AF...i guess hehe. I would be stoked if she came on her own for me. Maybe adding the progesterone would help. It's crazy to think that we have to suggest things to our doctors....who should be paying who? :-)

stef- yay for O!

deb- like everyone else said, i guess it's good that you got AF because that's at least progress, right?

tummy- how are you? i've been thinking about you a lot lately. i'm so sorry about the ectopic but so glad your tube is ok. i hope you are relaxing and recovering today.

no news for me-- on day 3 of provera. i have been having what i think are s/e from the met recently though (why now????) -- have had to run to the bathroom a few times. yuck.

tummy: i'm so sorry. i am glad they saved your tube though.

stef: yea for O!

deb: i guess it could have been cd8. what a wacky cycle! sorry about AF.

pikachu: i hope your watch is right!

heartcore: hi!

ry: yeah, my Met symptoms have gotten more, not less frequent. go fig.

hello to relka, doolin, the lauras, stacey, TX, Hrt, and everyone (I know I've forgotten a bunch).

so this morning i decided to take an OPK with FMU. I know, i know you're not supposed to. anyway, my cheapo internet one looked positive. each side was completely even. so i got my digital to check. neg. i looked at the lines and they weren't even close. so maybe my other positives this cycle should be blamed on the cheap opk's?

Whitney - I am so terribly sorry. That is awful. It is great that they caught it early enough to save the tube AND that it's in such good shape. But seriously, big big ((hugs)) to you.

Deb - I think I was the biggest naysayer about this, but geez louise, looking at your temps in the absense of other signs, it does look like you o'd CD8. I'd print out your chart and bring it to doc and ask his/her opinion. If it is low LP progesterone, that'd be easy to remedy. I hope you can figure it out this cycle.

Pika - good luck! I hope the signs become clearer soon. Doesn't it sometimes seem like we're querying the magic 8ball? Answer hazy...

Deb and Relka - AF came this AM, so it looks like we're all cycling together. Of course, with PCOS, there's no telling what this means and both of you will be medicated, but I figure it's nice to have some comraderie. :-)

Keo - I always use FMU for OPKs. I know people say otherwise, but it always correlated well for me. I've never tried internet cheapies, though.

Hey There! I can’t keep up with you guys; there are so many posts. I have been working SO much the past few months and feel like I need a break. I have decided to take July off to rest and relax. Maybe less stress will help my cycle. J I am still waiting to find out when I can have the adrenal gland test. I am hoping hard it isn’t long. I am ready to just start treatment already. I checked and it is not possible to pay to have it done sooner.

I may start getting on to this fertility friend thing to see if I can learn more about my cycles. My only concern with that is that I can become obsessive and stressed if I let myself and I wonder if it will hurt more than help to be constantly wondering and worrying about what charts mean. Any thoughts on that topic? I certainly would take comfort in having all of you to help me….wow, you would think that this is a webboard of fertility specialists and endocrinologists given all you know about these things.

Whitney – I am so sorry to hear that your pregnancy was in your tube. Why does that happen? Are you moving to IVF because once you have one tubal you are considered high risk to have another? I wish you a quick recovery and I hope your spirit recharges really soon.

Keo – hypnotherapy! That sounds so cool. Keep us posted please.

Doolin, relka, heartcore – I agree it is hard to not feel annoyed at envious at the ease with which our friends and family conceive. I couple I know recently thought they had a baby on the way (false alarm) and were not overly happy about it. They made the joke that they could just give it to us since we were having issues having our own. I love them and they didn’t mean to be rude but the comment made me not want to see them for a couple weeks. I feel hyper sensitive about things which isn’t like me (wasn’t like me, I should say)

Stef and Stacey– awesome you O’d! We need some great news on this board…I have my fingers crossed for you.

Pikachu – hope the OV Watch is doing its job

Hi to everyone else!

Where is Lucy, by the way? She hasn’t posted in ages. Lucy – are you out there? How are you doing?

Morning/afternoon! I'm doing okay. Definitely sore. For those of you that have had a lap, how long does it take for the shoulder pain to go away from the belly gas? I think that's the most painful part for me. I'm fine if I don't change positions, but getting up and down is tough.

Laura -- yes, having one ectopic puts you at risk for another. And although the risk is not eliminated with IVF, it is much smaller than with IUI/FSH since they're putting the already fertilized embryos directly into the uterine cavity.

Stef -- that's great that you Od! I think your BD schedule was just right. I hope it worked!

Deb -- I, too, think you Od on CD8. Very strange, but from your luteal phase and your temp shift, I think that's when it was. Yay for Clomid working!

Whitney - it took about a week to 10 days for me. Apparently, walking around is the way to get rid of it (even though that was the very last thing I felt like doing). I hope your recovery is fast. ((hugs))

a colleague found that the pain from her lap was quite bad for the 1st two days and then it was gone completely. She went away for a party weekend the day after she had it done so maybe all of the travel and dancing helped get rid of it....

Stacey-Glad to have a 2ww buddy!

Tummy-I had no shoulder pain with my lap and apparently that is b/c they got all the gas out of stomach. My Dr told if they leave large amounts of gas it triggers the shoulder pain and some Dr.'s try to get it all out while other's don't.

Laura-I was no very consistent using FF in months past, but if this cycle is another BFN (lets hope not) then I will continue to do FF b/c it really does show u alot about what your body is doing even though it can be confusing at times.

Deb-Yep I would say CD8 which is really early considering you did clomid. BUT if that is the problem you are right that prog. will fix that. This is a BIG step forward if you did in face have successful O even though it was too early.

Pickachu-Hopefully your OV is right and not a false alarm.
