Deb, Springtime and other moms - Happy Mother's day! Tummy and Relka - I hope you're both feeling better about mother's day, I know you will be moms soon! I have not o'd yet, and I actually don't think I'm going to. I still have no CM (and I reach right up there to check it!), ovary pain or temp rises. My cervix feels high, and maybe softer... but I'm so inexperienced with the checking of it, that I don't really trust my "analysis" of it. I actually don't even know for sure if I'm reaching it. According to my OV watch, I should be o'ing between noon today and noon tomorrow - I set the watch wrong, so the times are a little funny. I kind of hope I'm not in the midst of o'ing though, because if this is the kind of CM I produce on just 50mg of clomid, I think I will have a problem.

Hi everyone else. Wish I had some input on everyone's crazy charts, but I don't chart. Is there a point at all to me charting, when I never ever have a period on my own? I'm thinking not, huh?

Laura32- I felt that way about temping, too. For the past 2 years nothing could make me ovulate, not even injectables, so I kind of felt like "what's the point?" It has really taught me a lot over the last month, though, and it hasn't been as much of a pain in terms of lost sleep as I thought it would be. I think it will be nice to share my charts with my Dr. at my next appointment. Mostly it helps me to know what's going on with my body since I'm not being monitored by my RE right now.

| Registered User Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Texas ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Stef -- that's horrible! How are you feeling today? You might have strep throat. If you have a good fever and a really sore throat I'd go in for a culture to make sure. If you do have it, antibiotics will fix you up quickly. Feel better! Heartcore -- what bcp did they put you on? I am in such a hurry to start TTC again. I still don't know how long they're going to make me sit out. I'm 90% sure we'll be doing IVF next, which brings up a whole new set of concerns, but I just want to get started already. Physically I'm feeling pretty good. Even sneezed today without terrible pain. Back to work tomorrow. Emotionally I'm up and down. Yesterday was harder than I thought it would be. My fertile sister emailed me to tell my happy Mother's Day and that our embryos were in heaven together (her first pg was an early m/c), which of course made me cry. How is everyone else?

| Registered User | Stef- sorry you're sick. i really hope you get a BFP this time! Tummy- glad you're feeling better! I had an uneventful weekend and didn't really celebrate Mother's Day b/c we stayed in town rather than going to visit my parents. I just keep thinking that I REALLY hope I'm a mom (or at least pg) by next Mother's Day. But then I start obsessing about how that might not happen. I'm the oldest child in my family so I don't have to deal with that aspect like some of you do-- at least for now. I actually haven't told my mom about all this PCOS stuff yet. We are super close but I don't want her to freak out and I don't want her to freak ME out. I think I need to tell her soon but I've decided I'll tell her when I start Clomid because just doing Met isn't really a big deal. I don't want to wait too long and have her be upset that I didn't tell her.

Stef - I sure hope your sickness means good things. In the mean time, it's nice that your DH is taking care of you. According to my OV watch I should have O'd yesterday. But, as you can see by my temps, nothing has happened. My body just doesn't like to follow the rules! And I had a gut feeling this was going to happen, I was just not showing the signs of fertility. In fact, my CM is even less now than a week ago. Now I'm feeling like I just want to move onto the next cycle. I'll go for my P4 on Friday, but after that I will probably start provera.

| Registered User | ok everyone, i'm back and kept up with everyone at night by reading the thread but didn't have the time (or brain functioning to post) ... the conference went well. i'm exhausted but back. i didn't temp over the weekend since i was sharing a room. it was weird and part of me hoped that when i got home my temp would be really high today and i had o'd over the weekend (i was hoping that by not temping i had "relaxed" enough to o.). HAH. i started Vitex today. i'm going to try for personals but don't feel bad if i miss you! just still am not thinking straight and am now grading finals. tummy - that was very sweet of your sister and i'm glad you're heading back to work. i hope your IVF show gets on the road soon! deb - your doctor is sooooo .... !%&?!#! yeah. I ditto what everyone else said. stef - feel better! & good luck - c'mon BFP! stacey - i hope this is your cycle too! pik - i'm sorry that OV watch isn't working right. that bites! relka - i'm glad you and your mom are close but i know what you mean about freaking each other out. my mom keeps mentioning various fertility things to me and i just keep having to say "have to ovulate first" heartcore - gl with the BC! hello to kdw, the lauras, lucy, TX, Hrt, Auf, ry, shell, and everyone i missed!!

| Registered User | Well I feel a little better today. My throat is still a little sore and I sound like my voice is going to go any minute. Not fun teaching with very little voice today! I went in again today for a 7DPO P4 and the nurse told me my P4 from a week ago was only 7. So I'm pretty certain I O'd either that day or the day before. I was VERY tempted to have the nurse run an HCG, but it wasn't my normal Dr.'s office and I'm going to my OBGYN Fri. so I'm just going to hold out. Deb-I sure hope I'm following your 2ww signs! Keo-Grading finals.....uuugghhh Pickachu-Sounds like your body was gearing up to O, but didn't quite make it there. That is what my body did 2 years ago when I tried clomid. Rywalller-Right there with you on the whole "well maybe next year I'll be a mom" that is what I always say at Christmas or Easter is maybe next year. Tummy-I know you have to be ready to start again. Frustrating. Heartcore-You have to be SO EXCITED to get this ball rolling! Laura32-I don't chart unless I'm on meds b/c I feel the same way you do that there really isn't a point.

| Ovaries are in the shop Join Date: May 2007 Location: South Carolina ![]() ![]() | stef: I'm cautiously excited. We still have 2 weeks before we're officially accepted into this study. If for some reason we're not accepted, we aren't going to do IVF because our money tree in the backyard hasn't bloomed yet. My IVF nurse said today there is a really good chance of being accepted still, so I'm thinking as positively as possible!
