tummy: how are you?
doolin & laura: even though my focus is on trying to get preggo now, i would love to know why I never get my period and if there really is something else wrong. I guess I'll deal with it after I have my first baby.
As for me, tomorrow is my sonohysterogram and trial transfer. Not too excited about either one but at least I get a day off of work ;-) This past week and upcoming weekend is the annual Harley-Davidson spring rally here. No offense to motorcycles, but picture 500,000 bikes in your city in addition to tourists who have no idea where they are going...makes for a hormonal car ride every day. Its definitely time for everyone to go back to where they came from.

someone said they were looking for one-pieces. me too, no bikinis this summer my belly is just not looking quite right. i saw a cute sexy one piece at target. i can't bring myself to overpay for a swimsuit!

relka: I have the same issue with swim suits. Its ridiculous that I'm 112lbs and can't even wear a 2 piece. DH says I look fine but I'm self-conscience about my pooch. And i agree about paying too much for a swimsuit. I wish I didn't live at the beach sometimes.....
I just re-read my post and realized that i complained about my weight and living at the beach. I'm ridiculous

My Mood: Points: 30,184.25 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 30,184.25 | Heartcore -- GL with your SHG and trial transfer. My sister said hers wasn't bad at all -- similar to a pap, better than an HSG, only mild cramping. And short. The motorcycles would drive me crazy, too!
Relka -- you're right about the lack of actual treatment for us. I, too, am sticking with an RE for now. All I care about right now is getting a baby, then I'll look around more to see if there's anything else to be done for my actual health. I'm tired of the mixed info about met for sure. When I was stuck on 1000 mg, someone told me I might as well not take any for as good as that dose would do for me. Then I just recently found a new article that OHSS is reduced if Met is taken during IVF. I just don't know!! I'm totally willing to take it if someone could tell me I need it. Otherwise, I'd really rather not!
As for bathing suits, I'm all about the 1-piece, too. And I LOVE Target for swimsuits. They're pretty decent quality for the price, and the price allows for a new one or 2 every summer! I haven't worn a bikini in about 5 years. Way too self-conscious.
Totally tired of Angelina. Also wonder (as I always do when there are twins) if some fertility treatments were involved. I love how J Lo COMPLETELY denies it, saying that twins run in her family, even though there are photos of her going in and out of a fertility clinic. Why not be an advocate instead of ashamed??
AFM, I feel almost normal today. Not quite ready to jump back into Pilates classes, but almost. My belly button really really itches Really just anxiously awaiting my appt next Thurs to see when we can get this party started again!

My Mood: Points: 14,752.89 Bank: 468.59 Total Points: 15,221.48 | Laura - I'm sorry you aren't getting any answers..I like the comment you posted though.
Hi Daniella - Metformin alone didn't help me ovulate..at least not for the first 6 months that I've been on it. I finally O'd last cycle for the first time ever with clomid, so maybe the met is helping..but I don't know.
TXan - Wow..you have a lot to go through for the mock cycle. It's good your Dr is being so thorough.
Relka - I have been taking baby aspirin too. I used to be on it for the IVF cycle as I heard it helps the lining.
Springtime - Ah, welcome to the world of IVF..when I had those 52 follies on my canceled cycle, I felt so weird..very bloated and my ovaries were so sensitive. Has your RE asked you to start drinking gatorade and eating protein, or drinking protein shakes? These were both recommended to me for helping with hyperstimulation and bloat.
Keo - sorry it looks like you're out.
Doolin - glad you had a good chat with the therapist. She has good advice...that cake looks so good!
Pikachu - my OB made me wait until CD36 after clomid to start provera, but only after a confirmed negative BETA. I supposed if you have had a progesterone test that indicated you didn't O, they might start sooner.
Hi Amy - how are you ??
Whitney - I wonder the same thing when I see all these celebrities having twins.I also wonder if some of them don't do IF treatments just to have twins even if they don't have IF.
Heartcore- GL with the mock transfer..there really was nothing to it. It did make me spot a bit though.
Hi Ry, Stacey and anyone I missed!
AFM- I had some ovary pains on the right side today at work. Also started getting some creamy CM, so hopefully something good is happening.

My Mood: Points: 2,081.36 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,081.36 | heartcore- you must be in myrtle beach. when i was in college we went there our senior year after exams and before graduation and it coincided with the harley davidson week. and it was AWFUL! the motorcycles were everywhere at all hours of the night so i never got any sleep (ok, i know we were not necessarily there to sleep but i really love sleeping so it's always important to me). and it just really made everything so congested.
as for bathingsuits, i ALWAYS wear bikinis-- maybe i shouldn't-- but i always feel like i look better in those than any one-pieces i have. plus, i like a tan tummy- always looks thinner! i feel like my family will really wonder if i suddenly wear one-pieces at the beach and now have this bloated belly. it kinda does look pregnant. sometimes i look at it and am like, how am i NOT pregnant with this thing?
relka-- so true about docs having such varying advice. i feel like no one has a freaking clue about PCOS and what to do sometimes. my endo said that if it works it works but he doesn't think i should take it forever if it doesn't work. but just that you have to take a high dose. who knows???
SOOOOOO sick of Angelina and her super-fertility! that sounds mean but whatever, it's annoying.
oh and daniella-- i meant to say that met has not given me AF or ovulation yet. it has been about 3 months.

Hmmmm. Maybe I will try (somewhat) to do the Southbeach thing, because this big puffy belly is quite annoying, and I can't imagine that a one-piece would help that much unless it had a (gasp) control panel. Yikes. I am not ready for that admission!
