Relka, I'm so sorry about your BFN.

The fact you are able to try again with the follistim is definitely a positive, but I know that doesn't take away the disappointment of this past cycle. Just remember you have so many people rooting for you on these boards... I know I am.

Relka-Sorry to hear about your results. I'm right there with ya on the stress of IF on marriages. We have finally gotten over that hump , but some times it still wears on the marriage.

Doolin-Any news on you?

FF hasn't detected an O for me.....uugghhh I have two days of positive OPK............wonder if it is b/c my temps are all over the place and not consistent. Have any of you had problems with FF not detecting an O despite + OPK's??????

Stef, I think if you have FF on "Advanced" it looks at all the fertility signs, so the temps are probably throwing it off. My chart is funky too since I had such high temps at the end of the clomid. You can switch the method to just focus on the OPKs and it might give you an "O".

Speaking of temps, my dumb temp went down to 97.9 today. I hate that I had those abnormally high temps before my so-called "O". If those weren't like that, even 97.9 would have been a good temp, but now I'm not so sure if I O'd or not.

Stef- I know that you have to have 3 days of elevated temps for FF to detect ovulation. If you O about 48 hours after your first positive OPK, then maybe today's the day. I'm interested to see what your temps do over the next few days. Hopefully the'll go up tomorrow!

Stef/Deb - Clomid really screws with your temperature. The month I conceived my chart was all over the place and I wasn't on FF but if I was it would not have detected an O because my temperature went up before I even O'd (I was being monitored so I know for sure when I O'd). And I definitely took my temps accurately. So, I would say that clomid = screwy charts. Good luck!!

Relka-- so sorry about your BFN. Really hoping for next cycle!

Deb-- looks like you still might have O'd though!!!

Stef-- I really hope you caught that egg!

I had my endo appt last week but haven't gotten my b/w results back. I'm really interested to see if my testosterone levels went down from the Met. I've now been on the Met for 2 months but no AF. So, I'm going to start taking Provera today. My dr. said that for some people the provera is just what the Met needs to get things going. I can believe this (sort of) because I know BCP did that for me in January. And while I seriously doubt it will work for me, I think I'll still temp next month because I never have before and I might as well get started now. So, we'll give it another month and then try clomid.

getting ready to leave for my appt!!!

relka: sorry about the BFN...the stress is exactly why DH and I took a break these past few months. It was exactly what we needed. Its nice to BD just for fun :-)

stef: you probably haven't O'd yet like kdwgr said. The OPK just detects the surge and then a day or 2 later you O!!!

I'll post when I get home, I have two appts one at 2 and one at 3 and it takes 2 hours to get there so I won't be posting until 6ish. Hopefully they'll tell me if I'm accepted today but I'm not getting my hopes up. Cross your fingers!

Good luck today, heartcore!

Deb and Stef - clomid does wack things to temps. Deb, I had the opposite happen: my temps were super high while I was taking the pills and then fell quickly after I stopped (until I o'd). Kooky as well, but easier to see the temp shift. Were you sleeping restlessly on the pre-o days with the high temps? Sneaking sips of brandy in the middle of the night?

Relka - I'm so sorry for your BFN, and the stress you are experiencing with your DH. Hopefully it is just a little more of a waiting game - I'm rooting for you!

As for my retail therapy and movie - AWESOME!!! I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man, and even saw it again the next night. Dorky I know, but it was that good! Robert Downey Jr. is GREAT!!!

Last night I was kind of bummed in general, but enjoyed my scotch and DH was really supportive and even rented The Tudors for me. Feel better today, but I guess I was being contemplative about how long this process is probably going to be, especially if I'm advised to wait 2-3 months. The accupuncturist definitely thinks waiting 3 months is preferable. Of course will see what the Dr.'s reccomend this week.

Relka-I am so sorry about the BFN. Thinking of you.

Heartcore-GL! I can't wait to hear what happens.

TXan-I really hope the accupuncture helps. I have heard great things from others.

Stef and Deb-Pulling for you all to O. Again, I admire the dedication of the temping. This stuff still doesn't make sense to me.

Well, I am no longer s/e free (thanks for asking doolin). I am tired all the time. I was at my parents place this weekend and had a crying fit at the dinner table. They all kind of looked at me like I was crazy. I've also been bloated and can't get enough Mexican food. What is that about? It still amazes me what we are willing to do to reach this goal. I don't want to complain because it'll hopefully all be worth it.

Hi to everyone else!!!!

Deb - Clomid seems to be doing something similar with my temperatures... they were quite a bit higher than normal during the time I was taking the pills - I usually never have temp's in the high 97's. Like you, I'm wondering what FF is going to do with my chart. The coverline is going to look really wonky, if I even get one.

TXan - I'll be interested to hear what your doctor says... waiting 2-3 months isn't THAT bad in the grand scheme of things, but if you're like me, any sort of wait is a killer!!

I'm only on CD 10, but I'm already anxious to start a new cycle at a different dose of clomid. I just don't feel like the 50mgs "took"... I think it's the lack of symptoms that has me thinking that way. This weekend I already prepared my DB... I only want to do 3 or 4 months at the most of clomid before I look into injections. I don't even care about the cost (infertility is not covered by healthcare in Canada) if it will save me months of disappointment. He doesn't really agree with the aggressive approach, but he's come a long way in the last few months, so that's a plus.

Springtime - LOL about the mexican food. Maybe b/c it's cinco do mayo?

Pika - My second round of 50mg I didn't think anything was going on b/c I didn't have the crazy s/e that I had with the first ... but on my u/s I had two plump follies. Remind me, will you get mid-cycle monitoring?

Springtime - sorry about the Lupron. I've heard it's a killer. I was crazy on Clomid, so I cannot imagine how I'll be on Lupron... it's all worth it in the end I suppose!
