My Mood: Points: 3,410.02 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,410.02 | AAAGGHHHH!!!! This is not a good day.
Kdw and Relka-((hugs)) I am so sorry.
Tummy-I am so sorry about your sister's BFN. I wish I could give her a hug. I remember you saying she does not have PCOS. Is there something else that they are not seeing?
Deb-I commend you on your patience. Your dr's office is driving me crazy.
Fred-Welcome! Sorry about the m/c. This is a great place to be.
Stef-How are you??? I've been thinking about you.
Doolin, Tummy, Heart-I know. I have these same convos with my DH. He tends to do the eye-roll thing when babies are mentioned. Drives me batty.
AFM, AF arrived Monday and I go in tomorrow for bw and US to start the FET protocol.
Hi to all the other ladies. We need some good news people!!!

And Kdw, I agree that being able to get shnockered at a good friend's wedding is definitely a decent bright side!
Well, as far as being happy for friends who get pregnant; I have only officially known I was going to have a hard time conceiving for a few months now, BUT even when I didn't know, my friends act like normal people when they get pregnant! They don't talk about it 24/7, and really except for the fact that they aren't drinking and their stomachs are growing, they act the same as always. They would never say anything stupid like "catch a big fish for the baby", and their husbands wouldn't rattle on and on about "my pregnant wife" on an IM. So basically, what I mean is, it's easy to be happy for people who are acting like normal humans.
Welcome, Fredrica.

Points: 12,129.79 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 12,129.79 | relka - I am so sorry i think planning for the future and moving on to IVF sound good.
kdw - I'm sorry about AF, also your chart was so sneaky!
doolin - i really don't get how people can be so insensitive! can you imagine if one of us was talking to a 300lb woman about how hard it is to maintain our weight?!? we'd be considered such b*tches! And yet, it's rude of us to not take that from someone else?
tummy - i'm so friggin' literal, however, that when you said one-legged man and stairs, i thought "but wouldn't he have a prosthetic?" i am that person who thinks like that.
so far, other than occasional twangs of longing when i hear of the ease through which people get pregnant, i'm pretty much ok with hearing about pregnancies. i attribute this to three things (2) no one close to me is getting pregnant, (2) i've only been trying for 6-7 months, (3) and having been diagnosed 6 years ago none of this has shocked me (though i really hoped i would beat the odds). so i really don't have advice for you ladies cos a year from now? it's anybody's guess how i'll be. i think that it is necessary for all of us to be honest on this thread, though, because it's one of the few places where we can be honest. so i will willingly kick all of your DHs, if you promise that if my DH says/acts like that one of you will kick him [disclaimer: this is not to say that i don't get annoyed by people who say ridiculous things when they know about IF. one that particularly bugs is a girl who got pg after a few cycles and was glad b/c she knew having to keep charting, etc would drive her nuts. um, how do you think i feel? but that doesn't make me sad. just makes me want to bang my head on the table.]
ry - maybe your temp is a slow ascender? maybe you o'd on saturday or sunday?
fredericajoe - welcome!
springtime - good luck with FET!
laura32 - i'm glad your friends are normal!
afm, well, i'm still spotting/light period/whatever the heck it is. the acupuncturist (i still can't decide) thinks i should both call my doctor (probably for progesterone) and come in next week. i'm so sick of this. and DH keeps asking, "When do you think it will end? like, 2 more days maybe?" and each time i say "i have no idea. i wish i knew. i'd like that." and then the next day? he asks again. maybe i should throw in the proverbial towel and get some meds from my dr.

My Mood: Points: 2,673.22 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,673.22 | Hello Hi everyone,
I am new to all of this, so please forgive me if I am not posting this in the right place! I have some questions, and was hoping someone could help me! My husband and I have been TTC since 11/07. I just started Metformin at 1700mg a day and 50mg Clomid cd 5-9 this cycle. Since I began the met, I feel sick and tired all the time. My doc. says its normal but I think I would feel better knowing that others have had side effects like mine. Is there anything I can do to lessen the headaches and nausea?
Thanks for the advice! |

After soy, Femara, Follistim, an ectopic pregnancy, and IVF, FINALLY BFP 8/08 -- twins -- but lost baby B somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. Hoping for a healthy singleton birth... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
