Tummy-I could NEVER transfer 3......just the thought of triplets....AAAAHHHHH
Stacey-What's the latest with you?????
So this morning my temp stayed the same and I was wondering what in the world was going on then the cramps came then AF. Upset that this 16 day luteal phase didn't have a good result after all the torture it caused me. TRYING to stay positive and look at it as the 2ww is over and on to another cycle. Don't get it though b/c I know exactly when I O'd last month and timed BDing and alot of it. Frustrating! Hopefully this next month will be a success story...............

relka: me and DH do that every 2ww! I thought I was the only crazy one. I'm the same as you, I might as well enjoy my time of thinking that I'm pregnant. DH is so cute when he does it. It makes me realize how much he really wants this too.
The new layout of the board is nice...

how is everyone?

Points: 6,247.57 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 6,247.57 | Stef - Ahhh! Stupid AF! On the brighter side, if you can "O" on clomid for the next few months, your chances of conceiving on one of them is probably very good. Tummy - 2 or 3... that's a hard one. I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I would probably do 3, just because I really wouldn't mind having twins - it would mean going through this IF stuff less. Triplets would be a lot though... I'm actually surprised that the doctors would consider transferring 3. Don't they usually try to limit the risk of high order multiples?
And about the torture of the 2ww, I can totally see why the 2nd week would be harder. The 1st week is pretty uneventful, but then in the 2nd you are constantly worrying that your temp will drop or AF will show. I'm not looking forward to that one! Relka - I know this is old news now, but great job with the IUI's x 2 and the BDing! I hope this is your cycle. And, I love your idea of acting like the pregnancy is happening. A lot of people believe strongly in the power of positive thinking (i.e. the book the "Secret") - I hope it works for you! Kdwg8r - That is fantastic news about your "O"!! Not only are you o'ing, but it's at a consistant/good time. I'm so impressed Doolin - I don't think I was more thirsty on met... just craved carbs!! I am a lot more thirsty on clomid though. It's funny how we all are so different. Stacey - What's happening with you??? Deb - I sure hope that O is coming!!
Hi everybody else!
As for me... I started my natural progesterone yesterday (CD24), so I will take that for the next 10 or so days until I get AF. My cervix had become low and hard, so I think any hopes for a late O were over. My DF thinks I should have waited for my OB to give instruction... and he's probably right, but since I'm not really being monitored (except for P4 tests), I figure I can make the decisions for now!
The timing is better this way, because by the time my second cycle is coming to an end, I will have my appointment at the fertility clinic (the good one!). I'd like to know by the appointment if I O'd on 100mgs of clomid. If I haven't, I am going to discuss more aggressive treatments with the RE.

I had success putting 2 in, so I think it's a good place to start. Now, however, I'd like to put 3 in since I'm older, but I don't think DH would go for it.
Relka - that's great you have a positive attitude.
Kdw - Yay for the 2ww. It is exciting.
Stef - Sorry the old bat showed..but your LP was a nice length!!
I still have a low on the monitor this morning..I'm so annoyed! I want a 2ww.

My Mood: Points: 33,936.13 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 33,936.13 | Thanks for the input. She is 29, but her doctor is encouraging 3. I have no idea why. Their issue is all male factor, so I fear that if they put 3 in, they'll get 3 out! Her doctor's embryo transfer average is 3.7, compared to the national average of something like 2.1. My doctor's average is 1.9! I may have talked her into doing 2 good quality and 1 lesser quality. They're going to have several to freeze, so there will be more chances if these don't take. I guess they have up until the last minute to decide...
Stef -- so sorry about AF. Wow, your chart was so perfect. I guess they say you can have an estrogen surge in the luteal phase, which might cause a false implantation dip. I really thought you had it, though. Darn.
Deb -- I'm bummed about your lows! I guess lots of ppl O late on Clomid, but I thought it would be a repeat of last cycle. Hopefully you'll get some good news soon!

AFM, I want to cry this morning. If my FM wasn't worth $70 on ebay, I'd be tempted to throw it out the window. If anything, my line was lighter today. I feel like I'm never going to be fertile. My temp took a dive, but no other signs of potential ovulation

AFM, woke up not so optimistic this morning. i'll still talk to the baby but i just am starting to worry a bit. i'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself on the "what next" but i am thinking about it. maybe i just see some sunshine, it has been rainy and overcast here with the occassional moment of sun. where is spring?

deb- so sorry this cycle has been so confusing.
relka- i agree with whoever was talking about the power of positive thinking. of course it doesn't always work (we'd all be pg now if it did!) but i do think it can really help, if only by reducing stress.
AFM, nothing new. AF is finally going away and i've been temping but this morning when i temped i had just woken up because i was really hot and tossing around so i discarded it b/c it was super high. tomorrow, i'm going away for the long weekend in atlanta for a girls weekend with my best friends from college- so excited! when i get back, i'm crossing my fingers for some O signals! let's hope that positive thinking works for me too!
