Laura - you said it perfectly... it's a lot easier to be happy for friends and family with babies when they are acting like most human beings. OMG, if I was pregnant and called my DF and said "the baby wants daddy to catch a big fish" (or whatever they said), he would never repeat it out loud in fear of never being able to live it down. *Maybe* this is something you say in private, but definitely not in front of people with IF, or just people in general!

I know people are understandably excited but it's really hard when it's the only topic of conversation is pregnancy and/or babies. I think that's where my major issue lies. I've been able to be around (and be generally happy for) people who incorporate it into a conversation but not let it dominate every exchange. It seems reasonable, right?

I took my last BC pill on Saturday and I'm supposed to get AF this week to clean out the little lining that I accumulated in the 19 or so days of BC pills. I am hoping to get her by tomorrow or thursday b/c I have to have her before I go for my next appt which is scheduled for Friday. If all goes well I start stimming on Saturday!!! I'm sooooooo excited yet super nervous. I'm so scared of overstimming.

I hope all you ladies get BFP's soon. Also about the pg ladies you need to do what is best for you and your marriage and not worry what someone else may think.
Heartcore- I just wanted to offer you some advice about the overstimming. As you can see from my siggy that I overstimmed and I think this was due to the dr. not seeing me frequent enough. The beginning stims is what really determines your E2 levels and once they are up it is hard to get them down and some docs don't coast and even if they do it doesn't always work. I say that to say don't feel bad demanding more frequent appts. I know it is a pain and it may even cost you more but the one regret I had when I overstimmed was not being seen enough. I think my dr. didn't see me for 3 days after I started the stims and that was way too long for me. I hope everything turns out great and in a month or so you get a BFP! Good luck with everything!

I can't look back at the posts on 21 so I can't remember everything I wanted to comment on!
Kdwg8r and Relka-Sorry about the BFN ((HUGS))
Pickachu-My periods are short on clomid like 4 days when they are normally 7. BUT can't say for sure if clomid thins lining.
I can so relate to all of you dealing with all the PG's around you! It is SO hard and I have NO advice of how to handle except enjoying some good beer, wine, or any type of alcohol (sorry for any of you that don't drink) and let me not forget the chocolate fits in the middle!
OK so I know my DH would absolutely KILL me if he knew I posted this, but I feel very close and do share alot so here it goes. So after our big blow up fight DH is spending alot of time in bathroom so I walk in and find him looking at his package and I questioned and he says come look at this and tell me what you think. Well right below his pee hole is a swollen bump. So of course I flip out and start questioning "are sleeping around on me, do you have somehthing to tell me, etc etc."
But the more i looked the more it looked like a insect bite. So anyways Monday it is still inflammed so I tell him to go to Dr. So he goes to Dr. and the Dr. wasn't sure what it was, but ran some tests. Here is the interesting thing that we learned....he said that my husbands hole is a little lower than normal and that possibly the bump is a result of a UTI which is a result of the hole being slightly lower. Well, my DH was very proactive and asked if that could be an issue with me getting pg because of the angle of the swimmers coming out and the Dr. said absolutely. So once tests come back on Mon. then he wants DH to go see a urologist. So last night I inspected my DH's package (bump completely gone) and I still don't think his hole is lower than normal.......looks normal to me. BUT this is the kicker...............the Dr. said no intercourse for the week until tests come back. WELL HELLO sorry, but I should O anytime this week and I'm not going to waste any chances.
In the midst of all this, DH and I discussed alot about our plans with all of this b/c I have 1 maybe 2 more months of clomid after this and then back to the specialist I go which they will only give me the option of spending a couple of thousands for IUI. So DH and I are on the same page of the plan and it is that if I don't get pg by the end of July then I'm going to get back on birthcontrol (so I can have normal hormones, and regular periods, etc) for the next year and step up and spend the $$$$ for IVF next summer. SO atleast we have a plan now. OH and if I'm not pg the end of july I told DH I want to get breast implants before I go back to work in Aug!

everyone thanks for the hugs and stuff. i'm upset but overall okay, just ready to move forward! Dh is being a doll. he asked me if i had enough meds for next cycle or if we need to buy more. remember this is the same man that said i couldn't buy any injectables. he even mentioned that we haven't tried implanting an embryo yet(IVF) so i think he may be coming around. i have been in pain and i think that maybe coupled with the reality that it just isn't happening is making him step up. i really needed that today b/c i was ready to throw in the towel.
i have a plan for this cycle and i hope it works. 1) aiming for 3-4 follies my doc needs to up my injects dose 2) IUI at 36 hours with a fresh sample, i was surprised to learn that frozen only lives for 12 hours maybe less 3) TI after IUI, I hope! i read that with MF IUI should be timed as close to O as possible so maybe we've just been missing the mark. any other suggestions. i'm a control freak what can i say!
anyway, how is everyone?

heartcore - thanks! good luck with the BC. i'm kinda wondering if my dr will suggest that instead of just progesterone. we'll see.
wantsababy - of course you're welcome!
stef - that's very intriguing. i love the implant comment by the way. and i think it's a really good idea to save for IVF.
relka - it sounds like you are covering all your bases!
afm - i told DH that heat can lower his sperm productivity and he just walked into the living room with a big bowl of tortellini that he made for dinner and said (as he sat in his armchair - yeah, manners aren't our thing) "I shouldn't put this in my lap cause the heat will hurt my balls, right?" he's really starting to take it all in

My Mood: Points: 28,999.04 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 28,999.04 | Keo -- LOVE the DH comment about tortellini on his balls!! LOL!
Relka -- it really sounds like your DH is coming around. I knew he would. That's exactly when my DH stepped up -- when he saw my pain after a BFN. I'm so glad to hear that. As for your plan, it sounds good. IUI with fresh is definitely best. You may want a frozen sample on hand too just in case he can't perform (don't you have some extra frozen vials from before?).
Stef -- I wouldn't hold out just b/c of potential tests for DH. They can always test later if he needs to have abstained for a time. If you might O you should definitely take advantage of it. I think your plan of saving up for IVF is good, too, but hopefully you won't need to!
Wantsababy -- we never mind our pg thin cysters popping on here. Hopefully you're not offended by our comments on pg women -- all cysters and other infertiles are exempt from any of our negative feelings -- we love you all! It's very different when you've been on our side before. And thanks for the advice on overstimming. Of course that's my biggest worry with IVF, so hopefully my dr will stay on top of it.
Heartcore -- do you know what doses and what meds you'll be stimming with?
I forgot to say welcome to Fredrica on the last thread -- hopefully she will find her way over here...

My Mood: Points: 1,880.73 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,880.73 | HI everyone.
I found my way and am marking my spot! Thanks for all of the welcomes. I am still new with a lot of the lingo, so bear with me here.
I am sorry to everyone who has had a BFN (I am still catching up on all of your stories) and I completely relate to the bitter vs. positive attitude issues with friends who are pregnant. I struggle with that a lot. I love to bake and crochet baby blankets for all my friends and family who are new moms but I seem to find myself weeping over gifts and then resenting the people I am making them for - THEN I feel awful for being such a terrible person. It's exhausting.
Anyways - I am going to jump in with a question here - maybe one of you can help me.
A few days ago I had my first appt. with a specialist. They did an ultrasound and besides the 40+ tiny cysts they saw on my ovaries (no surprise there) they said there was a lot of fluid, which perhaps meant I had just ovulated. They took blood to confirm and called me the next day to say my progesterone was too low to have ovulated. I started a 10 day Prometrium cycle that night so that I can get AF and start Clomid ASAP. Well that was two days ago and yesterday I started spotting. It isn't a real AF, but definitely something going on. My mom said maybe I was preg again? Last time I was preg I m/c because of low progesterone, so I'm a little freaked out that it may be happening again. Would the blood test the doctor took have shown if I was preg? Could it just be AF arriving in the nick of time and the Prometrium is unnecessary? Can you get AF without ovulating or meds? I've been on Met for almost two months with no sign of AF, but lots of pain and discomfort the past week. OH and also - first acupuncture session yesterday. Could acupuncture or even just a couple of days of Prometrium bring on AF?
I called the Dr. but of course no call back today.
Whew! Sorry for the long post. I feel like such an amateur cyster.
Also still figuring out how to get all my stats up with my sig but I think I covered most of it here...
