Welcome Heartcore and Karen!

Good luck with your pg test Karen.

I have my blood tests on Friday. So it will be nice to get those over with. AF should be coming on Monday which would make me very excited. That would mean that I had it 2 months in the row. I am feeling very irritated today. I really hate that feeling but I am trying to do my best not to take it out on anyone. I also feel like I am coming down with something. I have an earache and a little bit of a sore throat. Blah
If I do get sick would that mess up my blood tests? If I'm not feeling well I will defiantly call the Dr. the day before to see if it is ok but I was just wondering if any of you know.

Hello to everyone else!
Hope everyone's day is going well.

~Amber

Greetings to All!

I typed up a nice long post last night, but I guess something ate it b/c I don't see it!

WELCOME-Karen and Heartcore!

Cysta-Hope you get good news with your 3 CD appt!

Tiara--How are you feeling?

As for me, I went to a new RE yesterday. I only saw his nurse not him, but she was VERY good and we were impressed. She took me off the Met! She said that is it isn't regulating my cycles then there is no reason for me to be on it b/c my insulin levels were fine so I was happy about that. She said she wants to do some further investigating so I'm going in for some bloodwork tomorrow. It is interesting how two dr.'s can tell you two totally different things. When I had HSG done my last RE told me that the opening of my fallopian tubes were inflammed and damaged from an infection that I had at some point that I didn't know I had, but he told me it wasn't a concern. BUT this lady said that it is a HUGE concern b/c with the opening being inflammed it will be very hard for the egg to implant and that when they see things like this they go ahead and assume I'll have an ectopic pregnancy. So with them assuming that as soon as I find out I'm pregnant they will take me in that day for an u/s to see where the egg implanted so they can rule out an ectopic pregnancy. Interesting huh??!!!

So the next step after the bloodwork is well I'm not sure.....she said she will call me and then I guess we'll meet with the actual RE.

Dahlia- Actually all I did was take my Met everyday. I actually missed 2 days. I had ended a relationship at the end of last year, and renewed a past one with my daughters father...........long story. We talked about having another, and May was the first month that we had a chance to not not try. KWIM. And poof it happened.

Stef- I am feeling so drained. I wish I could go home and go to bed.

Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well!

I went on Saturday to have my progesterone levels checked to see if I had ovulated this cycle. I finally heard back from my RE's nurse yesterday, and she said that I had not ovulated. This was not surprising to either of us, since I've basically been bleeding constantly since I had my ovarian drilling surgery 6 weeks ago. The first 3 weeks I had very light bleeding, and then it turned brighter and heavier, though still light for AF. The last few days have gotten heavier, more like a normal flow for AF, and I've been extremely moody. I'm taking this as a good sign that something hormonal is going on, and the bleeding will end soon. The nurse explained to me that my body is still going through lots of changes from the surgery, and I probably had a very thick endometrium as a result of being anovulatory for so long. I basically have to just wait it out, but it really sucks!!

On a happier note, my parents are renting a condo on the beach this week, and DH and I are going down to mooch off of them for the weekend. It will be nice to get out of town for a few days and just relax!

Hi everyone, I am marking my spot on the new thread. Welcome Heartcore & Karenbear! I am in Boston visiting my sister and I was hoping it would distract me from my 2ww and it has... sorta

Stef28 - that is insteresting that the doctors each had different opinions it makes you realize that not every doctor gives the same treatment. Is the inflammation permanent?

I am 6 days past my IUI and I am convinced it didn't take. The great thing is there is a thread on here for women who had IUI's in the month of June so it's nice to see how the 2ww affects all of us similarly.

Good luck to all of you that had blood work or other tests done this week. I wish you all the best. I am going to try and relax and stay away until I get home next week! I will check in with you ladies then

Halloj halloj,

Seems like there are a few new chicks in the group. WELCOME. I find it kind of amusing to read about all the newbies and their thoughts because that was just how I felt when I first joined the board. Now, things just seems to be "whatever" and "no worries, mate"

Blood work came back ok so now I just have to wait until vacation to do provera again and start on 150 mg clomid. THAT WILL BE FUN - NOT. Brrr on side effects. Anyway. time to go and weed the garden. I can hear the chickweed calling my name......
