My Mood: Points: 27,631.86 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 27,631.86 | Yeah, I've always heard that stretch marks are genetic too. My mom didn't have them and I don't either, really. Maybe a few small ones. And I put lotion on every once in a while if I feel a lot of stretching, but that is just to try and make it feel better, not to prevent anything.

Points: 52,942.31 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 52,942.31 | I believe stretch marks are genetic too. I don't know if my mom has them or not - she's kept her belly well hidden for many years. But my sister only developed stretch marks on her hip/lovehandle area and only got a few total. With DS I didn't get any stretch marks at all. I used regular body lotion on my belly and hips pretty much after every shower once I started growing. I'll likely do the same thing this time. It cuts down on the itching and it certainly can't hurt to mositurize a little.

My Mood: Points: 5,801.58 Bank: 17,416.29 Total Points: 23,217.88 | hsuter - I drink both, bottle water and tap, and they are the regular sized bottle waters. I have always liked drinking water, so it wasn't that big of deal to increase it. I do sometimes sub in like a crystal light here and there, to add some flavor to things. Not to much though bc of the nutra sweet.
Stretch marks - I have been lotioning up my big belly 4 times a day to help, w/ that special lotion for stretch marks by Palmers. I am not sure if it is helping or not yet. No stretch marks yet, but I still have a little bit to go.
Refrain - I hate it when the baby butts poke out, it hurts to bad!!!! When both poke out it's the worst! I just rub on the little butts in hopes it will make them move around a little bit.
sheepie - That's great about your apt! We both almost the same amount along, so I can understand your excitment! Sorry about the crappy co-worker though, I hate it when people on the same level as you act like they are in charge. It makes me want to just not listen to them to.
Rose - LOL. Yah, when they look like sea monkeys it's kinda creepy! Glas the m/s is better!
shellsbells - You'll put that weight on, it's just tough in the beginning!
13 - It's really tough to slow down, I know i"m always like, I'll just do this one more thing... opps then I over did it!
evyn - I just make a point to drink 3 bottle waters (normal sized - not large ones) by noon, then I drink 3 more by 5pm, then I drink 3-4 before bed. I just time them out that way I know how much I've drank that day. I really do not drink any thing else during the day, I will occationally put in a diet coke or a crystal light drink, not that often though b/c of the caffiene and the nutra sweet. I drink both tap water and bottle though. I will refill bottle of water a couple times then throw out the bottle. We go through alot of bottles though. I buy two cases every other week.
I had a doctors apt today. I measure like I am 36 weeks, gained 2 lbs (weight now 150 lbs - so far gained 30 lbs), heartbeats great after chasing them around b/c the babies kept moving around, my cervix is closed and round! So all is well, yah!!! Keep closed cervix!!!

The pain I was having kept getting worse so I called my OB. They said to come right in. SO, I did. She did an exam, and my cervix is closed up tight (yay), but my abdomen is super tender when she pressed on it. She said it was probably round ligament pains, but it feels JUST like a large cyst, sooooo she did an ultrasound. She said there was no cyst, and they don't know why Im hurting. My OB wasn't worried, she said to just keep an eye on it and if I keep hurting to call her back. Ive pretty much been holding my side ALL day. Its kind of frustrating because they couldn't give me a good answer on why Im hurting, but they assured me everything was fine.
Oh, and the baby is a girl.
*runs around screaming* Ive been shocked all day, I had no idea Id learn the sex today, it was an awesome surprise. I have a picture of the scan attached here: http://www.soulcysters.net/april-tur...post1889126968

I hope the pain goes away soon too..ugh, I was miserable last night! It feels so much like cyst pain, where I don't want to put any weight on that side. It just doesn't make any sense for a ligament pain to hurt constantly! But what do I know, maybe its totally normal.
Im going to go out today and buy ONE outfit...we are trying to save money with DH about to start a new job, but I can't resist...its not every day you find out you are having a daughter and I really want to get her first outfit.

About the pain--I think I was about how far you are and I was having horrible pain on my right side, near my ovary area. It kept getting worse, like a sharp stabbing pain that never really went away. It hurt to press on it. It hurt to stretch it out I was hunched over walking because I couldn't straighten up. I started feeling it in the morning and it was getting worse all day. By 3 or 4 am the next morning I was in SO much pain, I woke hubby up and made him do a physical on me (ahh, the joys of having a doctor in the house). Diagnosis--GAS. I never even imagined gas could hurt so much. But once I had a BM, it was amazing. Like it never happened (actually, I was still a little sore, but all the pain was gone). So, when was the last time you went?

I got three adorable outfits. I didn't spend too much either. I tried to stick to the 6 month range because Ive heard you get tons of newborn stuff and 0-3 month at showers.

My Mood: Points: 9,955.87 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 9,955.87 | Just a quick drive by before I wake DD up -- she likes to take long naps during the day and wake up every hour to cluster feed at night so trying to reverse that a bit, LOL! I'm sure I will miss some things but here goes --
Congrats on your daughter, Evyn! How exciting!
Congrats on a great appt Aturn, and yay cervix in there doing its job!
Refrain, so sorry about the name and family drama. I think you have a great attitude about the names, though. Luckily, we didn't have too much of that but whenever someone would suggest a name or bring up something even in jest, I would just smile and sometimes say, "Well, you can name YOUR baby anything you want. This one is mine."
Shell, you will gain the weight, don't worry.
Amy, glad your m/s is getting better. As far as breast/nipple changes, I didn't notice all that much change during pregnancy. My boobs got a little fuller and areolas got a little bigger. I didn't really change in cup size but did have to go up a band size. Once DD arrived and my milk came in, though, bazoom! Definitely went up a cup size then. Still, all told I only went from 34B to 36C.
Sheepie - great job on your weight gain! You'll be doing great after delivery, too, I'm sure, since you're keeping so healthy now.
