Just marking my spot...sorry I haven't posted much, just haven't felt like it.
Not much to report...my next appt is March 11, I am getting my pap and an ultra scan or something, has anyone had this? Hopefully I can get an u/s too.

Is an Ultrascan not an ultrasound?
Lets see March 11th, you'll be 9ish weeks...seems too early for an NT scan, maybe they'll just take blood. I had the pap too...it's funny, after all the crap I had been through a regular old pap smear was nothing. I thought afterwards, no why did I ever think pap smears were unpleasant?

Aturn, I just saw your comments on the old thread.
Yes---we are going to take the Pottery Barn crib. It would be crazy not to. I could go all out and get my "dream nursery furniture"....or we could use that money to help me stay home more. We will end up spending money either way, but....I think we will end up spending less this way. By taking this crib we are already saving ourselves $249.99 at least!

My doctor's appointments started out at funny intervals, since I went in at 6 weeks and he wanted to see me 4 weeks later (10 weeks), so I've been on a 6, 10, 14, 19, 23, 27 week schedule. At my 10 week he just did an ultrasound (suprise surprise with him!)...and I had a separate 12-week appt with a specialist to do the trans nuchal thing...then at my 14 week I had another u/s, lol. My experiences I don't think are very normal
Hsuter--I'm not staying home. I'll be off on maternity leave for 3 months, which is what my company allows, then it's back to work for me!

Ugh....those nuchal transleucency scan things...Last year when my cousin was pregnant, they told her with all certainty that her baby had downs syndrome. Well, he doesn't----but they spent a long while scared.
As for working...I work full time now, but Im hoping to drop about ten hours a week once the baby is here. If we can afford it Ill drop more. I know we can't afford for me to stay at home, but we think the more Im home the better. We don't want to do the day care thing if we don't have to.
