shellbell - Thanks, I know I could be a lot bigger. There is another twin mom at the doctors office that is huge compared to me! I am grateful that I have not ballooned out that much and have managed to keep a good weight gain.

Evyn - That's awsome you mom has done so much for you!!!! You are so lucky. It sounds like you have had a awsome weekend! Is there a new Money thread for this month? I haven't seen a post in a long time.

Sheepie - I am in the same boat as you, I refuse to buy any more clothes. I have one pair of capris and yoga pants that fit me. I have been wearing DH's sports shorts most of the time. DH isn't even that big, I offically weight more then him! I am kinda hoping that I have the girls before your schedule CS but jeez.... I'm starting to think I am carrying these girls full term!!!!

refrain - When are you going back to the doctors? If you are havng those feelings I'd get your cervix checked out just in case. You never know! I'd hate to have something happen while you head off for work.

hsuter - Good luck at Thurs. ultrasound. I'm sure all is well. How exciting about picking out cribs for the nursery though! Do you have some in mind?

No babies yet. I have been trying to keep a little active to maybe get things moving, but nothing yet.

Oh well. I have another growth ultrasound tomm. though, so we'll see if the girls have gotten any bigger. DH and I haven't done much though. He has cleaned the house agian this weekend and stocked up on food just in case the girls show up though. He keeps saying that he can not wait for me to be back in action so I can take back over the house work! I was like, "I'd think now that you have experienced all what it takes to keep the house clean and stocked with food, you would want to help me more?" He just laughed! Jerk!

Hi Ladies! Just dropping in to say hello. There hasn't been much action on this thread for the last few days. DH and I were out of town visiting my family for the holiday weekend. I am getting so anxious to find out the sex. My OB won't do it until 20 weeks when he does the anatomy scan. My next appt. is June 3rd and I will schedule the 20 week u/s then. It should be the last week of June sometime. I have a feeling it is a girl but who knows. I'll be happy with either one.

Shell and Rose- When do you ladies find out?

How are the over 30 week ladies doing?

I'm hanging in there. Not feeling very sociable so this weekend I only hung out with DH. I have an appt. on Friday and then c/s on Monday. It is coming so quick but I can officially say that I am ready. Only 2 days left of work which makes me happy and DH is going to have 2 weeks off. It will be so nice to spend that family time together. Our 3 yr anniversary is on June 17th. Very exciting month!!

Wants...I think your LO is a girl too!

Yeah.. we were going to do Medically Fragile Infant foster care before I got pregnant so we alread have everything already.. but now that I'm pregnant we are gonna hold off for awhile!

Here is a belly pic of me around 13 weeks. My belly pretty much looks the same now at 16 weeks. I feel like I started showing quick. I've gained 5 lbs so far.

Cali- I can't believe your baby will be here in less than a week! How exciting! Do you know what you are having?

What kind of Travel Systems are you girls getting? I already have one but it's a double one in case I had 2 foster babies. I think I'm gonna try to sell it. I like the Graco Snugride ones.. but I love the Chicco Travel Systems. What about you girls?

Caligirl - How exciting! I can not believe you CS is already almost here. I'm so excited and can not wait to hear all about it.

I had some disappointing stuff happen today. I went for the normal ultrasound and heartbeat checks and then I was sent to the Labor and Delievery for further testing!!!! So once there, I was told that they were going to hold me over night to watch my progress for labor and then if I do not dilate on my own I would be induced........ well, that's not really what happened b/c I'm at home right now!!!!! There was a mis-communication between my doctor and the hosital RN's.

They have not reason to induce me after they monitored me further for contractions and the babies heartbeats, so they sent me home. Great! The doctor from my office talked to me on the phone and felt really bad about the "mis-communication" but didn't want to induce me if the babies are doing ok. Whatever. I'm still really pissed, oh and the hospital gave me a $10 gift card for my troubles........ ahhhh, what I want is to have my freaking babies not a stupid gift card!!!!! I have a doctors apt. on Thursday and I am not even sure how I'm going to handle it. Anyway, that's my drama for the day!

Aturn-ugh, so sorry to hear about all the disappointment; and honestly who would think a $10 giftcard could even begin to make up for that?lol. What are your babies weights now? I would think at 37 weeks they would induce you already!! Hope you get better news Thursday, better yet...I hope you go into labor and have those babies tomorrow!!!

Blondie-If I was having a singleton I would go with the chicco system...I love chicco stuff!

Cali-I know how you feel about antisocialness

I seriously am so annoyed by everyone around me. At work, at the store, my own family...the only one I want to be around is my DH...and he's on a business trip to DC until Saturday. People keep calling my cell to check up on me and make sure I'm ok...but I'm letting them go to voicemail b/c I just don't want to talk to them. I guess I'm tired of all the questions and unwanted advice. Stupid hormones, I used to be a really nice person...now I'm quite b*tchy.

Blondie...We got a baby trend - orange oak. The color is not for everyone but we really like it. It's light and the car seat is rated #1. The chicco I felt was too bulky but I know it is very popular. Your best bet is to go to babies r us and try them out and see what works best for you.

Aturn...What a joke! I would be so mad too. They basically told you that you would be having your babies and then they send you home!?! I agree with Heidi, you are 37 weeks, isn't that overdue for twins. Damn! I hope your body starts those contractions again.

Heidi...How are you feeling? Your 1/2 way there! Well...for a singleton.

Refrain...Sorry your DH is out of town. That's tough. I had a friend call this weekend and she wanted to go to lunch or for a walk and I tried everything I could to brush her off. She's then like, well I can just come over and we can have tea and just hang out. Ahhh! No I don't want to do anything at all! I told her I would call if I was up for it. I never did. lol

Refrain and Aturn---you both sound so miserable and unhappy right now! I wish you both could just have your babies already! Your bodies are probably exhausted.

Cali---eeee just one more week?! I bet you are so nervous and excited. Oh man, I can't wait til you have the baby and tell us all about it.

COdi--travel systems....our infant seat/stroller is an Evenflo set---it wasn't my first choice but it was a gift so I can't complain. The car seat we actually plan on using is a Britax Boulevard though. The thing is HUGE...but it will work for 6lbs-65lbs, so we plan on getting a LOT of use out of it. Now I just have to figure out how to install it....

This week things have started to feel very REAL to me. Our house looks like a baby is coming, Im starting to FINALLY show on a regular basis now. My feet are swollen, and my lower back hurts pretty much every day. I think its official---I feel pregnant! DH just laughs at me because everytime I get out of bed I grunt and groan like a 90 year old woman.
