No babies yet! I spoke with the doctor on Friday and he said that I can be induced this week. I have a ultrasound Monday, and the results will dictate when I will be induced. If the girls have grown well we will be induced later this week, if they haven't grown in the last two weeks then we will be induced Monday night. I have gotten bigger so I think the girls have grown some so I am not having any hope that it will be tommorrow night so I think it will be later this week. The end is in sight and I can hardly wait.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

Good luck Cali and Sheepie!!!!!!!

Thinking of you today, Cali! Good luck & I know meeting your precious little one will be all the joy you've been anticipating.

Good luck tomorrow, Sheepie!

Also can't wait to hear exciting twin news, Aturn (and not too much longer for Refrain, too)!

Not much new here. DD has her 2 month appt today -- I can't believe it already! She sleeps for good 5-7 hour stretches at night now. I'm anxious to see how much she weighs at the appt, but we are vaccinating on schedule so she also has to get a bunch of shots today & I hate anything that makes my baby cry.

oh ladies, I'm so excited that your babies are on their way.

Those dreams are starting to kick in. I had one last night that I forgot to feed and change the babies for 6 hours. All my friends came in and saw me cleaning and then they started yelling at me b/c the babies were all dehydrated and dirty and I was horrified at what I had done. Gotta love those insecurity dreams

It seems like everyone and their mother has been telling me that they delivered their twins babies at 34 weeks and I'm not going to make it much longer. But I just keep thinking of you Aturn and you've made it all the way to term! As much as I would love to have these babies right now, for their own health they need to incubate...sigh. Last week they were 5lbs 3oz and 4lbs 8oz. I need to get my little girl up above 5 lbs so she has less of a chance of staying in the NICU so I'm eating like crazy.

Aturn-oh by the way, what are the size of your babies?

Hope everyone has a good Monday, I've got to head out to get my car damaged appraised b/c some lady hit me last week. The details are on my blog if you're interested.

Aturn/Sheepie/Cali - good luck! Can't believe you're so close to popping!

Refrain - how crappy that you got hit on your way to an appointment. If I hit a woman that was 8 months pregnant (with twins!) I think I would bawl my eyes out and never drive again.

I need to vent and please forgive me if I offend anyone. I really don't mean to. But I'm really frustrated that many women with IF issues can't be around pregnant women and get so upset around them. I completely understand how difficult and heart breaking it is but some women are just mean and horrible about it, even to family members! My question is, what happens when you finally DO get pregnant? Will you all of a sudden be happy for everyone just because you get to have a baby too? Cause god knows you'll want people to be happy for you and everyone will be resentful of the way you behaved when they were pregnant.
I don't understand, although it hurt me to see them, I never used to avoid my pregnant friends and I was so so so happy for them. I even threw a baby shower. I'm no friggen mother teresa, but I guess it just breaks my heart when IF starts to take over someone's life to the point where they are so bitter about other people's happiness. That is no way to live and it is letting IF take even more than your ability to have babies.

Sorry, I've had some issues in my personal life and needed to yell about it!

Rose- I'm sorry that you are having issues with other ladies going through IF not being happy for you or their other friends/family that are pregnant. I think that each woman who deals with IF may handle it in a different way but ultimately they have to be able to cope with it and sometimes it may mean not surrounding yourself with ladies who are preggo. It took me 18 months to get pregnant and I saw every lady in my family and many friends have children during that time and it was so hard. It made such a natural thing seem so unnatural for me and like something was wroing with me. However I did attend baby showers, throw one, and visit the babies. I love babies and always have but depending on what part of my cycle I was at or just had a BFN I had to do what was best for me and my marriage. I know sometimes it can be easy to forget the pain we had now that we are pregnant but it may be something that we have to experience again for future children although I pray that we don't. Most of my pain was only shared with my sisters and my husband. I felt alone many times b/c I didn't know of anyone who was going through this.

I have heard that IF can be harder than having a cancer diagnosis b/c family/friends know how to handle that like cooking meals, visiting with that person, etc but IF is something that many times is only felt by the person who is dealing with it.

I know it is probably hard for you but I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try to be there for them. It breaks my heart to know that people struggle with IF and if I come in contact with someone who is older with no children I can't help but think "maybe they couldn't have kids" and it makes me sad.

Sorry I wrote a book.

Evyn - I would be be a cleaning freak if I could get off the couch. I can hardly move around b/c of my huge swollen right leg. I kid you not, I think my leg has 10 lbs of fluid in it b/c of how swollen it is. It's crazy b/c it's only one leg. One leg is totally normal, the other looks like I have elephentitis! (sp?)

Amber - Thanks!

mnstrpc - Thanks for the update on your little one! I am sure time is just flying by for you!

refrain - So sorry about the accident! That is something you do not need right now, and I would freak out to if I found out I hit a pregnant woman (let alone with twins)!
I think your babies are bigger at your week then what mine was, b/c my girls didn't hit 5lbs until week 36, so I do not think you babies are doing that bad weight wise. Resting and eatting are the best things for you to do though. As of today, Isabelle was 5 lbs 14ozs and Alexa is 7 lbs even. Alexa is the brute in there, I never would have thought though she would be 7 lbs!

rose - I agree with wantsababy. People handle IF diffferently, some better then others. It's hard for us who finally do get pregnant bc we think everyone should be happy for us b/c of all we have been though, but it's not always so. There is a woman I know who couldn't even look/talk to me at work once I got pregnant (she has PCOS to and had stopped doing treatments b/c of cash issues).

Todays update!!!!! Well, Isabelle is 5 lbs 14 ozs and Alexa is 7 lbs even!!!! I know, I think it sounds like good weights. But the doctor called and wants to induce tonight b/c of Isabelles size. Yahhhhhh!!!!! I am totally excited and can not wait. He told me to go in to the hospital tonight at 9 pm and they will start me on drugs, so I am home resting right now. DH is going to get off work early so he can tidy the house up a little bit, make final preperations, and drop our pug off at grandma's. Wish me luck girls!!!! I'm going to try to post ASAP but it might be a few days. Can not wait to show the girls to you though!!!!

Shell-YAY for your ultrasound...what are your feelings? I notice your ticker is pink...you thinkin' girl?

NO!!!! The lady did not get ticketed and I have no idea why not. She hit me...she did not have a current insurance card...AND she did not have her drivers licence. I think the officer felt bad about leaving us waiting for over an hour in the heat (I have a feeling he was on his lunch break and is why it took him so long to get there).

Aturn-I'll be thinking of you tonight and hope all goes perfectly (and as painlessly as possible)
