| caligirl - You look awsome! Despite feeling under the weather, you really do look fantastic!
Nothing to new to report. DH cleaned my car, even inside. I wanted it super clean for when we bring the girls home. We even tried to install the carseats, but I know they are not right. I am going to go to the police department and get them fixed. They do it for free in my town. I can not believe how much room those carseats take up in the car though! My seat has to sit straight up for the carseat behind it! Oh well, at least I have four door car, my sister has a two door and she complains all the time having to climb in and out to get her daughter out.

My Mood: | Cali-you look great!!
Aturn-thank goodness you have a 4 door...I cant imagine trying to get 2 babies in and out of a 2 door, lol! We actually recently bought a new car. We currently have a grand prix and an acura, the acura is pretty small and old so we decided to get a bigger vehicle. We bought a GMC Acadia, its a cross over SUV, so we should have no problems with 2 car seats!!
Not much to report here. We went to a prental class Saturday, it was useless...basically if you buy a pregnancy book you will read the same things. We are going to a baby care basics class in a few months, that should be more worthwhile.
Our anatomy scan is Thursday...so excited!! I always get so nervous before dr. appts/ultrasounds, I'm just freaked out that something went wrong or is going wrong.

| Im nervous about installing our car seat as well----I drive a Corolla and we got a Britax Boulevard---which is HUGE. I mean, it is seriously gigantic. Hopefully it will fit well, and we can get it installed correctly.
Caligirl--you look amazing!! Your little belly button is so cute!!!

| I know we didn't get the carseats in right. We couldn't figure it out. There are instructions on the side, but the things flop around which I'm sure isn't right b/c the babies will fly backwards into the back seat if we get in a accident. Heidi, I wish we had a larger car but really do not want a car payment with me going down to part-time. I would love to have a SUV or something of the like. No mini-vans though!

| Amber--you look so cute! I love to see how different each person looks while pg.
Yeah, I have an SUV so I think I'll have enough room! I just hope I can reach in there since it's so high up. I know in my husband's car I'll have trouble reaching the car seat!
And I definitely need to get my car cleaned inside and out. Lugging our 95 pound dog around in it I'm sure doesn't leave it the cleanest environment!
Heidi--ooh, Thursday will be so exciting! Do you have any 'feelings' as to what the babies are going to be?
I have my weekly dr's appt this afternoon. I'm glad too, because the baby was so quiet on Saturday. She usually doesn't seem to move as much on weekends, I think b/c I'm up and about and running around so either I don't feel it or she just doesn't move because the change in routine. But usually if I sit and relax for a while and have some sugar or something she'll start moving. I finally ended up feeling her tap lightly that night and she was less vigorous but moving pretty constantly yesterday, so I'm hoping she just had an off day on Sat. She's back to moving this morning, though. I'm thinking maybe she's just running out of room to really move around.

| Cali- awww, the double windows make for great lighting and you look so good.
Aturn-STILL have no bought our carseats because they are still on recall. Its a dumb recall too. I called the company and they said they've fixed the problem but aren't sure when they'll be back out on the market. Essh.
Sheepie-I'm happy to hear I'm not the only worrier here. Rarely do I feel my little girl because she's behind the boy and her placenta is placed right where she would be kicking. Last night I felt her because she had the hiccups for almost 5 minutes straight. I was freaking out because I was sure she was choking and dying, not just hiccuping. DH calmed me down and I felt pretty silly this morning. Hope everything goes well with your scan.
Weekend with Mom wasn't so bad. She just talks a lot, and has an opinion on everything. It gets old. She also reads every billboard she sees and has to make a comment on it. She hates silence so she fills it with just nonsense. After shopping I got home and my DH took one look at my face and asked if I wanted some earplugs. He wasn't even there and he knew how the day had gone
The only thing that was weird is I think my mom was obsessed with seeing me naked. Maybe its a mother-daughter thing that I don't understand yet (b/c I don't have a daughter in my hands yet) but I was taking a shower, and she came into the bathroom to ask to use the computer. I came upstairs to change clothes and she just "popped up" to ask me some random question. I was in the changing room at the store and she kept insisting on coming in the room to help me change clothes and hang them backup. I told her I was going upstairs to take a bath and she came into the bathroom to tell me a story about one of her friends. It was just weird b/c my mom and I don't have that type of relationship and the last time she saw me naked I was probably 10. I'm just chocking it up to motherly curiosity of your daughters 30 week pregnant body. ???

My Mood: | Refrain-lol, wierd about your mom wanting to see you naked...must be curiosity. You said your car seats were recalled, which car seats are you getting?
Sheepie-GL this afternoon! As for feelings as to what the babies are; I'm thinking 1 of each. We know 1 is a boy for sure so I do hope the other has girl parts!
Aturn-I said definately no mini vans either, lol! We had been saving for a car for a while and my dad owns an auto body shop so we bought the car totaled and he is going to fix it up, so its very cheap; about half price. Now we just have to worry about paying for the insurance, its a 2008 so I'm sure it wont be cheap.

| refrain--glad your time with your mom wasn't SO bad
Eww--no minivan for me, either! Hubby wants one, and I said fine, if he drives it. I refuse.
Just got back from my appt. All looked good. I gained almost 2 pounds since my last appt (less than a week ago!) but I think that's because usually I have the first morning appt and I haven't eaten yet and today's was after lunch and I had just eaten. So I think (and hope!) that some of the weight gain was from that. But Baby looks good and I got to see her cute little face on 3D--she was smiling And my doctor was mad at me for not calling on Sat. when I couldn't feel her. But he said she was moving around a ton at today's appt and I could barely even feel it, so that made me feel a little better.

| CaliGirl – I love your belly pic! You look great!
Aturnbg – That’s so nice of your DH to clean out your car. And yay on putting the carseats in (even if you need to get them fixed)!
Heidi – Sorry your prenatal class was useless. Was it a birthing class or was it just about being pregnant? I hope the next class is more useful. Can’t wait to hear how your anatomy scan goes!
Evyn – When we installed DS’s convertible seat rear-facing it definitely affected the seat in front of it. I installed ours on the passenger side since I rarely have anyone else in the car with me. Now that DS is forward facing, he’s behind me though, which I love! No more walking around the car every time I put him in and take him out.
Refrain – Glad the weekend with mom wasn’t too bad – though I’m amazed that she can talk that much! And it’s funny that she kept trying to see you naked! It’s probably curiosity of your body otherwise it might just be her way of dealing with you becoming a mom and her still wanting to “mother” you, which means no boundaries. But yikes, by the third time I would have asked her what her deal was!
Sheepie – Glad you had a good appt! Glad you got to see the baby again – smiling no less. But I can’t believe she’s still breech! Are you going to try to get her to flip or just take a wait & see approach?
I had a very busy weekend. On Friday we had my nephew’s bday party at Chuck E Cheese. The party was great, the kids all loved the treasure chest cake, and Coen (my DS) had a playing on all the stuff. I was exhausted by the end of the night! We ran errands and did another party on Sat. And yesterday we went by my dad’s for a belated Easter Egg Hunt and my step mom’s birthday. The egg hunt was fun. My dad hides them for the kids *and* the adults, so we were all looking. And Coen was enjoying running around outside and picking up eggs and putting them in his basket. It was adorable. After my dad’s, we went and picked up some sand for a sandbox DH built for Coen this weekend. He had a great time in it, though bending over like that didn’t help my heartburn! Overall it was a good, but busy weekend.
I’ve been feeling a lot of bubbles lately and wondering if it’s the baby yet. But this morning I felt a full on twinge! I waited a few minutes to see if it happened again, but the baby was quiet. So I started pushing on my belly to see if I could get it to move again. No luck! Oh well. I should know by now that kids have a mind of their own.

| sheepie - It's great that your apt went so well, but totally sucks that your little girl is still breech. Is there still time for her to switch around?
Refrain - Yikes! That kinda freaks me out about your mother wanting to see you naked! My sister is pissed about not being able to see the babies be delievered but, I think her's is a more curious thing then actually wanting to see me naked. I'm glad though your weekend went not so bad.
Heidi - I do not know how I missed that you are getting the big scan on Thurs! Good luck! I'm sure all is fine, do you have any clue what the babies might be?
13 - Sounds like a great weekend!
Nothing new here. Just waiting for the babies to come. It's awful of me to say it but I wish they would come out! I'm only 34 weeks but geez, I'm so ready for my little girls to be in my arms! Everyone at church told me to just relax and enjoy the time I have right now, but how can I enjoy anything when I can barely move around and have constent aches!

My Mood: | Hello. I'm only tentatively joining this thread, and I was going to wait so I don't jinx myself, but I have a zillion questions I need to ask! I already "know" several of you, but for the rest, here's my story:
I did a (very long) cycle of follistim (ended up stimming for 28 days before trigger), and got a BFN on a HPT, but then went in for a beta and it was 11.3 (low, but technically positive). I thought it was a chemical pg, but it doubled in 2 days. But then the day after that I started bleeding, with passage of clots and cramping, and was sure it was over. Went in for another beta and it had doubled again. And then again last Tuesday to make sure. Anyway, I have an u/s on Friday this week and am trying not to get my hopes up with the way everything started out. I will be 6w2d by then, and am just hoping with all I have that this is a normal intrauterine pregnancy.
Okay, so I'll start off with a bang with my first question. Obviously with the bleeding I had last week DH and I have not DTD at all since O day (I forbid him during the 2ww). So twice now I have had dreams that lead to the other kind of O, and woke up mid-O with a weird, tight feeling/cramp in my uterus that felt kind of like a charley horse. Of course I was pissed that I even had those dreams b/c I'm scared to do anything that might disrupt my embryo. But I'm wondering if this is a normal feeling with pg orgasm?? I def do not like it!
Sorry to jump in with such a personal question... any thoughts?

| Whitney! Welcome!
Yes, I think that pain is common to have with the O, whether or not it's froma dream or anything else! Sometimes I would have cramps afterward (not really cramps, but something similar), and sometimes I wouldn't. I don't really have a choice in the matter since hubby thinks he'll poke the baby's eye out if we get intimate, so it's been a pretty non-issue for me, sadly! (I should really remind him again that she's breech so there's no way he could possibly poke her eye out!)
