Codi-They are Babi Italia Pinehurst Espresso...how are you doing?

Skinnypcos-welcome. I was dx with pcos but still had a period once every 4 months...doc said it was still possible for me to get preg. w/o meds, but i was too impatient. I'm glad things worked out for you.

Shell-YAY! A baby girl! How did your DH react

Had doc appointment today. My belly is measuring 39 weeks and all the docs/nurses were looking at me with great sympathy. Had a non-stress test just to make sure everything was good and there was a lady next to me who was getting one done also...except..she was in labor. Oh my lord, she was huffing and puffing and making little whimper noises. I asked her if she was ok and she just said, no, this hurts! ...and the nurse scolded me and told me to keep quiet. Always was the trouble maker.

I also got the Rhogam shot in my hip...that sucker stings!!!!!!

My little girl somehow has managed to flip so now both babies are breech. I have no idea how she did it, there is NO room in there, but I have been mighty uncomfortable from her movements, maybe shes been doing it ever so slowly, inch by inch...tired of being kicked by her brother...

Ok..I'm off to work...

CALI- SHEEPIE- ATURN- I wanna see some baby pics!!!!!!!!!!

Refrain- I've been doing pretty good. I've accepted what's happened and I just think that something wasn't right with the baby, it wasn't developing on time. The doctor said that in the beginning when all the cells divide.. they don't divide right and the body doesn't realize it for a couple months. I will always miss my lil bean, and I made a lil scrapbook with all my belly pics and u/s pics that I can look back on and show my kids later on. But I can't let it hold me down. I am excited to TTC again and get pregnant again! A doctor put me on Metformin and gave me a prescription for 100 mg of Clomid that I filled. I won't start Clomid til August/September. But hopefully everything goes well and I'll get a BFP soon..

Rhogam is necessary to take when your RH factor is negative. My blood type is A negative. If one of my babies has (lets say) A positive blood...my body will make antibodies towards the RH factor. Then the next time I get pregnant, if my baby has A positive blood too, then my body will attack the baby.

well...a not ideal one. Theres really only two "good" options if you want a dual stroller. Graco Duo Glider or the Double Snap n' Go with a compatible car seat. I don't like Graco brand and I did not like any of the car seats that are compatible with the Snap N' Go. So I ended up getting two Combi Strollers and two Combi Shuttle Carseats. Now...will I be able to push two strollers at the same time? No. But, I figure I will not be going out of the house much the first 6-8 months anyway and if I do my DH will be with me. Plus I can carry one in my sling or bjorn and push the other one.
It's not ideal, but double stroller options are very limited. Most of them only take one carseat...and the few that do take two, I didn't like the safety ratings of their carseats or the stroller was so damn heavy, I could never operate it by myself (getting it in and out of the car)

Codi-I really admire your attitude...I hope you get that BFP soon!! Have you started heavy bleeding yet?

Twin strollers-We got the Graco Quattro Tour 2 stroller. Its the newest version, 2 car seats can snap in, and it folds fairly compact, isnt as heavy as I thought it would be, and they will use it for a good while. Eventually we want to get just a twin side by side umbrella double stroller-the chicco twin stroller which I'm sure we will use a lot more than the Graco.
Refrain is right...there arent a lot of options and a lot of women do go with the push one stroller and carry the other in a sling.

refrain--honestly, i think DH is in shock a little. everyone around us, family and friends, ALL have girls, so we thought for sure this would be a boy. and, though i wanted a girl and i'm so happy, i was convinced that we were having a boy. so now we have to shift our thinking and get used to the idea that it is indeed a girl. of course he is happy too, and this little girl will have triplet cousins and lots of little friends that are all girls, so it really worked out great. i can't wait to go shopping now that i know!

Shell, your reaction is much like mine was. I was soooo convinced this baby was a boy, and when the tech said "Its a girl!" I was like 'What? Are you SURE??' I just thought she was wrong. I had to wrap my head around the idea of a girl...and once I did I was totally thrilled.

The good thing about the triplet cousins---hand me downs!!

Codi--you have such an awesome attitude about everything. I hope your wait to be a mother is a short one.

am i the only third trimester girly left? ...i feel alone!

collistrim is really starting to drip now-a-days. kinda gross.

At the doctors visit yesterday my doc seemed convinced that they were going to have to deliver these babies before June 26th, our scheduled c-section date. But I'm not getting ready yet. I saw what they put poor aturn through. I swear its a mental trick to make us multiple moms feel like relief is just around the corner...hang in there, they may be here next week!....all the while they know they are not taking these little ones out until 38 weeks.

Shell - that is so amazing that you're having a girl!

Blondie - I love your attitude as well. It must be a really hard time for you right now, I'm glad you're looking forward to your next cycle.

Do you guys ever have bad dreams? Cause I rarely do and for the last week I've been having nightmare after nightmare. First they started off as horrible dreams with people trying to kill me and gruesome horrible things that I can't even repeat. Lately they haven't been so bad but still weird. Last night I had a dream that I was in grade 9 and forgot my schedule at home so I didn't know what class to go to and I didn't know anybody, and then it quickly panned to me as an adult wearing my wedding ring and it somehow flew off my finger and smashed into a brick wall and all the little diamonds fell off and I was crying while trying to pick them all off the ground. What the hell! I'm not having trouble in my personal life, things are great, we're happy and just moved into a new house. Why am I having these dreams!!

My sister is going in for a beta on Saturday. It's her second injectable cycle and I'm so so so scared for her. She's been trying for so many years and I don't know if she can handle another BFN. She overstimmed on her first injectable cycle (something ridiculous like 8-10 eggs released) and it freaked her out so much that she waited a year to try again. This time only two released so I hope she has a better chance. Sorry I'm babbling, I'm just so nervous and sick about it. She never tests at home, just waits for the phonecall, I think I would go crazy if I had to wait for that phonecall.

Anyway, this is getting long!

Can't wait to see all the baby pics!

Amy, I had dreams like that when I was around 16 -18 weeks. I had terrible ones! Dreams that I delivered my baby in a toilet, one where my stomach ripped open and bled everywhere, I killed both my kitties in one, in another robbers tried to break into my house and I killed THEM...it was all brutal and upsetting. Didn't last too long though.

I am so grumpy today...its not even 10:00 in the morning and my feet are already swollen. It makes my whole legs uncomfy. I didn't sleep good last night either. *sigh*

Evyn - why are you swelling so bad? I didn't start really swelling until about 2 weeks ago. Are you drinking enough water?? I drink 8 glasses a day or 6 bottles. Have you talked to your doc about the swelling?

Refrain: Wow, I guess you are th only third trimester gal left. We'll keep you company though!

Rose: Yes, I have had some VERY bizarre dreams in the last few weeks. Let's see, the two I can remember had to do with my parents (and I get along well with them). I think in one of them I killed my mother and I think the other had some violence as well. I know one of them was SO real that I woke myself up crying.

Evyn: Sorry your feet and legs hurt. Hope they feel better. I have some swelling today, but I think it's due to the humidity outside.
