| I tried once and got a terrible painful cramp after Oing and swore not to have one again until after the babies came out.
However I have had 3 dream ones (involving very hot men shhh.), that while fantastic in my dream, wake me up to a cramped and painful uterus. Why couldn't I ever have those dreams when I was not preg!!!!

My Mood: | Same here, I NEVER had sex dreams before now, and now 2 in one week. Crazy. Well thanks everyone for reassuring me that it's normal (though weird and not very fun-feeling). I wish I could avoid the dreams.

| Hi Whitney!! So glad you're here. I had the same thing, very powerful O that felt tight and crampy. Then a couple hours later I had brown spotting! I freaked out, but since then I've O'd and haven't had any bleeding at all. I'm not sure if it was related or not. It's scary but I think it's normal.
We're in the middle of moving and I'm so exhausted!
Do you guys ever get any lower back pain? Like in the sacrum area? I feel like my muscles are all cramped up. I didn't lift anything heavy, just did a lot of cleaning.
Refrain - so funny how your mom wants to see you naked. Moms can be crazy sometimes.

| Thanks Girls for the compliments. They are really appreciated, especially now that I feel so huge!
Aturn...I have heard people complain about having a 2door with children. That's too bad is so crunched in there, luckily you have a 4door. That's great that your DH cleaned your car. As soon as you get the seats checked you are good to go. Isn't everything just getting so real now?
Heidi...Good Luck at your appointment on Thursday. You will really get to see those babes since it is the anatomy scan. They are very detailed at this scan so you get to enjoy watching for awhile. I can't wait to see pics if you get them!
Evyn...Thanks! I hate my belly button because it shows through all my shirts, lol. If you can find somewhere for them to check your car seat I am sure you will feel more at ease. Did you try it in your car before buying it or are you just hoping for the best?
Sheepie...Congrats on the great appointment! You got to see her smile! I know you get to see her a lot but I haven't seen mine since 20 weeks. You're spoiled. I am sure it is still so great to see! Sorry she is still breech. Flip baby flip!
13...You really did have a busy weekend. I got tired just reading everything you did, lol. That's so cool you felt the bubbles!
Tummy...Congrats on your BFP! I would love to tell you to enjoy the O while you are having them but I know how scary it is in the beginning. I just wish I could O now, dream or no dream, lol. I do think what you are feeling is totally normal though.
Amy...I do/did get the lower back pain even when just bending over too much. Try to take it easy. We moved in February and I did way too much lifting and cleaning but it's so hard to watch DH work so hard and not help as much as I normally would. But still, you should take it easy. Easier said then done.
Refrain...That's funny that your mom wants to see you naked. I think mine secretly wants to too. I forgot the comment she made but it made me think she did. They haven't seen us naked for so long I am sure they are just curious now that we are pregos. Oh moms!
I hope everyone is having a good night. DH is still at work and seems like he will be working really late this whole week. Great time to get a promotion when I am needing him most. I guess I will probably need him more once the baby is here but emotionally I need him now.

| Cali----We just got the car seat we wanted and we are hoping for the best!!
Also, I think Im going to end up with a belly button like yours...at 21 weeks, mine is soooo shallow. I just know as I get bigger its going to pop out. Im constantly poking my finger in it, asking DH 'Does my belly button feel even MORE shallow today?!' Meanwhile, the scar from my belly button right is moving up my stomach, and the scar from a lap I had done about 6 1/2 years ago is moving down. My belly button may never look the same *lol*
A friend gave me some girl clothes yesterday. I got some really cute stuff! Im grateful for it because we have not bought anything really. Hopefully it will work with the right size/seasons. Most of it is 0-3 months though, so you know it won't last too long. A really cute overall dress, a couple cute shirts, a corderoy dress, 1 pair of pants. Etc. They are in the washing machine right now, I can't wait to hang them up in the closet!

| Whitney--just wait until you get to 30+ weeks. Then the dreams stop--you need to actually SLEEP to be able to dream
Evyn--that's awesome you got girl clothes! I say take all you can get!
Belly buttons--I HATE mine. It now sticks out and I hate it. My belly button has always grossed me out (not the actual belly button--it's an innie and just fine), but my husband likes to poke me in the belly button and it gives me this weird feeling that I HATE (so of course he does it all the time), but now that the button sticks out, I get that ewwy feeling just from my shirt rubbing on it. I hope my button goes back in afterwards. I was hoping to avoid getting the outie, but it came at about 31ish weeks I think.
Rose--yep, I get/got lots of lower back pain. I have no advice, I just waited it out. Mine seemed to go in phases of hurting for a few days, then being fine for a week or two, then coming back.
I'm happy--my husband is finally off his night-shift rotation! Which means a fairly normal person schedule! Although it'll be hard to adjust to having to share the tv again. I was getting so used to being able to watch all the shows that he hates without causing a fuss!

| Evyn - I used to care about the fact my belly button poked through my shirts, I used to put a bandaid over it...but now, I've stopped caring
My DH comes home last night and tells me that August 1st we're supposed to move to florida for his job. He said its a joint decision that we need to make but he already has his mind made up.
I'm so angry and so frustrated because ALL of my friends are here and so is our family. I'm going to be stuck at home all by myself with two newborns while he gets to go to work everyday. I'll have no support system and will be alone. My friends and our family won't get to watch our kids grow for 3 years except by once-a-year visits and emailed photos. He doesn't get it. at all. Apparently the reasons I've given above aren't good enough and he says I still haven't given a good reason as to why we shouldn't move. I can't stop crying.
oh and he told me I'm not allowed to tell anyone this yet. So I can't even find comfort in my friends or family. ridiculous

| whitney - congrates and welcome! I agree with Sheepie on the the dreaming things after 30 weeks.... I can not even remember when the last night I actually sleep more then a hour at a time.
Refrain - My heart hurts for you! I am so sorry about your husbands job situation. It's such a crappy time for you both to be moving with so much going on. You seem like such a friendly person, so I'm sure you'll meet people and get involved with new moms where-ever you live. I wish you didnt' have to move though away from your family.
Sheepie - I'm glad you DH is getting off the evening rotation! I totally understand needing him around. I really hate it when my DH get's stuck at work even for a extra 30 mins. I just want him home with me ASAP b/c I just feel this need for him to be near me. Not even to do/talk about anything, just freaking be here with me!
Evyn - Way to go scoring the free cloths!
Taking my pug Lola to the vet this afternoon. I expect a $120 vet bill for her yearly check up, with buying the flea treatments and such. I figure it's best to get it out of the way before the girls show up. All is well w/ me though. Girls just keep moving around in there.

Will his work allow him to stay here? Is it an option to go test it out and if it
doesn't work out then move back? I really understand your point of view and think it's a very valid reason. Is he getting a promotion?

| yes...its the way his company works. They do 2-3 year rotations to gain different experiences. His past 2 rotations have been here in Houston and he was due for his next one (its been 6 years). I've known it was a possibility but since the main office is here in Houston, I just really assumed his next position would be here in Houston again. surprise. its not.
The company makes you go all over the place to make you a "well rounded" employee. stupid largest oil company ever.
he says that too about making new friends. I'm sure I'll meet new people but my point is that my "friends" are here. They've been my friends forever and I view them as my sisters. I've just imagined my kids growing up with all their aunties and they're all so excited about being involved in the twins life too.
i'm tired.

| refrain--that sucks. I know all about moving to an unknown location because of DH. I'm sure you'll meet lots of moms in baby get togethers. But I know that's not the point. So, it's for 3 years and then you can come back (or maybe have to go some other random place)? Is it at least a good part of Florida?
Evyn--yep, you can see my belly button through my shirt. I feel it's a little personal for everyone to see, but I HATE anything touching my button so I haven't tried covering it up either.
Aturn--yep, definitely good to get the vet visits out of the way before the babies come. I feel like we've been living at the vet lately because my dog has the worst allergies and we're trying to fix them.

| Evyn...Yay for free clothes! We just received over 100 newborn diapers for free. We are using cloth but I figured there is no way I am turning down something free. We will just use them when we are out and about until they are gone. You have such a cute little belly. You are definitely starting to show! It's only bigger, bigger, bigger from here on out. I feel like I just ballooned from 20 weeks until now.
Refrain...What a bomb to get dropped on you. I am having a hard time being so far away from my family but with twins it would be so much harder. Is there anything he can do to maybe postpone the move for a year or something? I totally understand where you are coming from. ((Hugs))
Sheepie...Sounds like you will be enjoying having your DH back. Mine has been working insane hours and now will be gone Friday - Sunday for his sisters graduation. So I don't get to see him before I go to bed and then weekends he has to go in too. I'm sick of being home alone! But the money is good and he worked so hard for this promotion. I couldn't imagine having DH work as much as yours does though. When will it calm down for him?
Aturn...Good to hear everything is going well. Hopefully your pup won't be too pissed about the vet visit.
Not much new here. I think something is going on in my body. Last night was the first night I have had bad hip pain while I slept. Usually it is just ribs and back but now it's more hips. Does that mean this LO is moving down? So exciting!

| Aturnbg – How many weeks do you expect to go with twins? I hope you have them soon – but not too soon! Good luck at the vet today!
Whitney – Welcome to the thread and congrats on your BFP! You’ve gotten some great advice about the O & cramping issue. The vivid dreams are normal and will happen occasionally during pg, but they won’t all be sex dreams, I promise.
Sheepie – LOL at DH worrying about poking the baby’s eye out! It’s cute how guys worry about that stuff, even though it’s not logical. Yay for DH being off night-shift rotation! He’s doing his residency, isn’t he? How much longer does he have?
Amy – Good luck with the rest of the move! I can’t imagine moving while pregnant. It’s exhausting enough without adding the 1st trimester drain! I had a lot of pain in my tailbone last time around, but it sounds like yours is more muscle pain than tailbone pain. Is that right?
CaliGirl – I think you have a cute belly – and you’re not huge at all! I’d post my 38w pic from last time, but you all would DIE if you saw how big I got. I’m hoping I don’t repeat that, but since I’m short there’s nowhere for the baby to go but out so I think I’m doomed. Sorry to hear DH isn’t around much right now. I hope he comes home early tonight so you guys can spend some time together.
Evyn – Yay for the cut girl clothes! I’m sure the clothes will work out. Especially now that pairing leggings with a skirt is stylish – it makes a lot of baby dresses last year-round. I love your belly pic, btw! You look so cute!
Refrain – I’m so sorry to hear about your possible move. I can’t believe DH approached it that way. It seems like you have no say in the matter. How is that a joint decision? I know that what ever happens, you’ll make it work. I just wish you didn’t have to go through such a major change when there’s so many other changes going on in your life.
Belly buttons: My belly button popped out last time too. I didn’t worry too much about it, I just thought it looked funny. But DH was the only one who ever saw my naked belly. It definitely looks different now though. It’s not bad or weird or anything, it just looks a little bigger than it did before I got pg. I had a small belly button before, so now it’s more “normal” size (if there is such a thing).
I have such a craving for a turtle sundae right now. MMMMM! Anyone else having weird cravings lately?
