cravings--not really. I haven't really had one of those 'I need to eat XX right now or I will die' moments. I've had things sound better to me than others, but overall nothing too crazy. I'd say that apples, celery, goldfish and lowfat chocolate ice cream have been the consistent food choices for me. Oh, and cheese products, like grilled cheese or quesadillas (but I think part of that is because I love turkey sammies and can't have them right now). So it's just filling a void!

My hubby has 4 more years before it will get better, or at least start to get better! He'll be done with his residency then. Each year of the residency gets a little better than the one before, with little things like he can be 'on call' from home instead of having to go spend the night in the hospital like he has to do this year. So, 4 more years! And that means we can also move home and be close to family and friends, so not only will his schedule be better, I'll be happy to leave this stupid state behind!

Cali & Sheepie. The move date would be August 1st...which is a postponement. We apparently were asked to move June 1 (AHHHHH). The only negotiation feasible was Aug 1. Hopefully I'll be recovered from my c-section by then. I just got the nursery all ready to go. Its all set up, painted, pictures hung, ready for baby, it makes me tear up thinking that its all going to get thrown into boxes and redone. Oh and here's the kicker, since we'll have to buy a house now in FL, and I can't travel, he has to go there and pick out the house. The first time I'll see the house, in person, is when we're moving into it. Its Coral Gables, Florida, it looks really expensive. Maybe we can afford a 800 sq ft box.

Refrain: A-U-U-G-G-G-H-H-H!!! I feel so badly for you. I cannot even imagine how frustrated and disappointed you must be feeling right now! The timing just really, really stinks. Your reasons are completely vaild for not wanting to move. However, like the other ladies said, I'm sure you will do fine.

Thirteen: The one thing that I crave every once in a while is a good cheesburger. It's strange because I've always liked them, but never ate them that often. However, now it seems I need one per week. Also craving fresh fruit, especially fresh strawberries.

Let me just vent a little bit over $13 dollars. I went to the vet and the vet lady is telling me how great Lola looks, great weight, great wrinkles, great ears, great fur even for goodness sake. She askes if I how often I clean her ears and wrinkles. I told her I use a Qtip and clean her ears every other week w/ a dab of water and I use a Kleenex tissue for her wrinkles weekly. She then tells me not to use water and I should use this Ear cleaner for her ears and wrinkles. I'm like, "I thought you told me that they look great." She says, "Oh, well this will ensure that nothing will change from that". The ear cleaner is $13. I know, that I am being a little pissy about $13, but that's not the point. The point is, I take very good care of my pug and she is just trying to make a sale when I'm good pet owner and I take great care of her. Vet lady needs to pawn that stuff off on owners who have real problems or who don't take care of their dogs/cats.

Ok, maybe I'm being a little -itchy today.

Aturn--I hate that. It makes me question the motives of vets and whether or not something is actually needed. It's like they know that we don't have any knowledge on the subject, so why not try and sell us unnecessary stuff. It reminds me of auto mechanics. Did you buy it?

Aturn...Your not be bit**y at all. That would piss me off too. "Oh your dog looks great! Buy some of this to keep her looking great"....Ahh duh, you obviously don't need that crap if they are so pleased about how she looks. Sorry, I don't know where that came from but come on....I hate when people try to make you buy something you don't need!

Sheepie...Damn, 4 years! Once he is done I am sure it will be worth it but sorry you have to deal with him being gone so much.

Refrain...I am just in aww. I understand you knew this could possibly happen but you are having twins and your family should be there to help! You almost made me tear up thinking about that beautiful nursery you worked so hard on. And you don't even get to pick your own house! What a shi**y deal!

Cravings....I wish I was craving something healthy. I haven't had any real cravings either, just preferences. Yesterday when I went to the store I picked up some stuff to make strawberry shortcakes, some volcano cake and ice cream. I guess I am craving sweets, just nothing particular. I still like fruit and meats, just would prefer sweets.

Aturnbg – Ugh, I hate that! It’s only $13 but it’s still ridiculous, especially since you obviously do such a good job grooming your dog.

Bobbysgirl – Mmm, I love strawberries right now too!

Refrain – I’m trying to remember, but I think I was in decent shape about 2 weeks after my c/s and I felt “recovered” by about 4 weeks PP. If you deliver by July 1 you should be feeling pretty good on Aug 1. It’s nice that you’ll be able to deliver before you move so you can have lots of visitors in the first few weeks. I think the first 3 weeks are the roughest, then by about 4-6 weeks you find a groove. Of course, that’s coming from a singleton mom. I have no idea what it’s like to adjust to two babies! Plus the thought of hardly using the nursery and not being able to see your house… I feel for you!

Sheepie – Wow, 4 years of residency! That seems like a long time, but I’m sure it’ll go fairly fast. I don’t have those “I have to have it or I’m going to die” cravings either. I always thought I would… I do however get a taste for something and it doesn’t go away until I eat it. Like right now, I would love some ice cream but I keep trying not to think about it. Yesterday I wanted a malt. Today I want a turtle sundae. I'm going to have to give in eventually...

Refrain -- that is so rotten. I guess you don't have any options, but could you move back in 3 years? I have a friend in Coral Gables with twin girls and she loves it there. It is super expensive to live there for sure, but it's come down a lot in the last couple of years. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, especially with what you're trying to deal with with your body right now.

Aturn -- I would be very irritated by that, too. My former dentist always did stuff like that and I hated it ("your teeth look great! Buy some of this to avoid gingivitis!"), so I switched.

Thanks for all the welcomes from everyone. I'm not sure I'll be sticking around, though -- more bleeding/cramping today, so I'll be going in for an u/s tomorrow instead of Friday to see what's up. Of course biggest fear is ectopic, since that's the most damaging/longest recovery. If it's a m/c I just want it to be over already so I can stop worrying/wondering what's going on. I trust that if it's a m/c this early it's a purposeful one (meaning an abnormality that isn't viable), I just hate the waiting and not knowing. If it's just a random bleed, then I just want it to stop already! Anyway, I'll update you all when I know something more.

Tummy - I'm so sorry, I hope it all turns out ok. Whatever happens let us know. I'll say a pray for you though. I hope it all turns out ok.

Refrain- How you doing? I've been thinking about you and your situation. Just wanted you to know.

Caligirl - I've been wanting a Dairy Queen Blizzard everyday! So I know what you mean about wanting something sweet. I've talked DH into stopping and getting me one every Monday after he get's off of work ... he says it's only until the babies come!

sheepie - That sucks! 4 years seems like forever! Although you'll soon have a little baby to watch after and those four years will just fly by now!

Thanks girls for totally understanding about my vet! DH told me I was being a little crazy about $13 but I told him that's not the freaking point! I'm glad you girls understand where I'm coming from.

I have a doctors apt tomm. Ahhh! I hate to be a complainer but I am so over being pregnant. I know I should be just enjoying my time before the babies come, but I'm so sick of not sleeping and being huge! I'm going to tell the doctor that I want a scheduled induction for 36 weeks... which I'm sure he will just laugh about and tell me no. It's just these babies have no room and thus hurt me everytime they move around now. I beg them not to stretch out or poke out their butts b/c I want to cry when they do.

Aturn, you poor thing!! I can't imagine what you are going through. Just a few more weeks though and you will be done.

Im not enjoying this stage of pregnancy either. I think Baby has been having a growth spurt lately b/c my stomach is SO SORE, I guess from stretching and growing?? Its not pleasant. I should just be grateful that I have a healthy growing baby, it its still hard to deal with the physical aspects of it sometimes.

Aturn-good luck at your appointment let us know about their growth, and thanks for thinking of me

Mom & Dad called last night, they were in the hospital with my grandfather. He was rushed in and has congestive heart failure with only 30% kidney function. Things don't look good. If he passes I will just lose it...that would be 4 grandparents that my DH & I have lost in one year. Why couldn't we have had these babies when we started trying to, before all this PCOS crap, at least they would have gotten to meet our kids before they died.

cliche for the day: When it rains it pours

Whitney: I hope your appointment goes well on Friday. A lady that is on another thread has had the same problem with both of her pregnancies and the first one was carried to full-term with no problem. She said it's some sort of condition that is treatable - -something to do with her cervix or tissue growth in her uterus. Anyway, I'm hoping that you will have nothing to worry about.

Autrn: Yes, your vet's office was being pushy. That sort of stuff gets to me, too. I'm sorry that you are so uncomfortable. I hope you can get some rest. It's almost over!

I've been having uncomfortable pains/cramps and weird feelings the last few days. I'm assuming it's my uterus growing. Also, I feel like I have to pee every 15 minutes.
