| Hey girls,
Refrain--I'm so sorry about your grandpa.
Actually, my husband's residency is 5 years, just one down and 4 to go! I'm so jealous of all his friends who are doing less specific specialties who only have 3 year residencies. Oh well, it'll be worth it, right!
We found our pediatrician yesterday, so I'm glad to get that checked off the list. The only bad thing is that they don't have priveleges at the hospital I'm delivering at, so I'll only get the on call ped. I'm just trying to figure out if I should switch hospitals. My OB has privileges at 3 and 2 of the 3 my ped has privileges, so I could switch and do it at a hospital they are both at, but the hospital I chose I go to for my appts so I feel more comfortable there. I don't know...
Whitney--I hope you get good news at your appt. I'm thinking of you.
Aturn--I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable! I can only imagine. Just hang in there. And who knows, maybe your dr will surprise you with an early induction date!
Evyn--yeah, I think you're in a 'stretchy' stage, although when isn't it a stretchy stage! lol

| Refrain...So sorry to hear about your grandpa. I could barely handle losing my grandma and you are have already lost 3 this year! My heart goes out to you!
Sheepie...I finally found a pediatrician yesterday too! I am so happy that is over with. If I were you I would stick to the hospital that you are comfortable with. The pedi is just going to see the baby for it's first exam and a week later you meet with your own. I think a partner of my pedi is probably going to make it over for the first exam so it won't be someone I know either.
Evyn...Sorry you are sore. The good thing is that will go away but eventually come back.
Aturn...Maybe since you are having twins your doc will induce you early. Is there still a chance that they will have NICU time at 36 weeks?
Hi Everyone! Have a great day.
~Amber

| Whitney – Good luck at your appt today! I hope all goes well. I know how hard the waiting and wondering can be so I’m hoping you get some answers today that will put your mind at ease. Keep us posted!
Aturnbg – Hope your appt goes well tomorrow! I know you’re tired of being pregnant, and I’m sorry it’s so uncomfortable right now. You’re ding a great job taking care of these little ones and they’ll be here soon! Wishing you better, more comfortable days until the girls come to meet you!
Evyn – Sorry to hear you’re not enjoying pg right now either. It’s hard. Some days are good and some are downright awful. I hope the stretching slows down some and you get a bit of a break.
Refrain – I’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather. Sending hugs your way.
Bobbysgirl – I feel like I have to pee constantly too. We must really be running out of room down there.
Sheepie – What’s your DH’s specialty? I’m sure the 5yrs is totally worth it. 3 yrs is nice & short, but in the long run it’s worth it to put in the extra 2yrs and really do something you like. Congrats on finding a pedi! In terms of the hospital situation, I don’t think it matters much. My friend had her DD at a hosp where her dr didn’t have privileges and it was no big deal. The on call ped will do an initial assessment of the baby but it’s only a quick visit and that’s it. If you like this hospital more than the others I wouldn’t change it over pedi privileges.
CaliGirl – Congrats to you too on finding a pedi!
I’m taking a friend out to dinner tonight for her bday. DH agreed to have Coen stay home with him, which is kind of nice. It means not only do I get to have an uninterrupted conversation, but I get to enjoy my dinner without checking on C every few bites! It’ll be nice to have a girls’ night out, too!

My Mood: | Hi guys -- thanks for thinking about me. It was ectopic. Pain got pretty bad last night and I went in this morning, ended up with a laparoscopy and they removed it from my right tube. She thinks the tube is okay and not too damage since it was so early. Got pictures and everything. Pretty crazy day, but I'm recovering well and feeling okay about things. DH is being a super DH -- I think this was harder on him than it was on me. Anyway, I hope to be back on this thread before too long, though I assume I will be taking a 2-3 month break. Probably will do IVF next.

| Whitney - I'm so sorry to hear it was ectopic. How heartbreaking! I'm glad the tube seems to be ok and that you're recovering and feeling ok about things. I hope to see you back here before too long. Best wishes!

My Mood: | Whitney- Aww I'm sorry it was ectopic! I hope you get to join us again soon!
Ladies.. I have a question. How long after you got your BFP did you finally DTD? DH and I haven't since a couple days after I Oed.. which was a long time ago. I was just so gassy and bloated at first.. and then my doctor said not to since I was having some cramping just to be safe, even if it's just growing cramps. So I'm still having some pains and twinges, but I also have 3 cysts. Anyways.. I feel so bad for DH but he's being really great about it all! Also- I have heard of alot of ladies spotting after DTD when they are pregnant.. I have not had any spotting so far and wanna keep it that way.. so I'm scared about that too..

| Blondie...We DTD around 4 weeks and 6-7weeks. I did spot so we stopped for a couple weeks. I normally spot after though. I think I have a sensitive cervix. If you feel comfortable you can try it and just be gentle. You might be surprised and feel better after your done. Good luck.

| Whitney--I'm so sorry. I'm so glad you were on top of things and caught it so early, though. I can't wait to see you back here hopefully soon.
Codi--Amber has good advice. I never spotted, but it's been very few and far between with me and DH and we haven't since the 2nd tri (like I've said before, he doesn't want to poke the baby's eye out). If you feel comfortable, just go slow, and don't feel bad if you don't feel comfortable and don't want to. DH will get over it. It's all worth it.
As for me...This baby has turned into Alien. She is moving SO MUCH. It's crazy. Last night I put the tv remote on my belly to show DH how much she was moving around, and this morning it's still all crazy! I think she might be trying to flip, but there just isn't room to do it. I also think she's dropping. Like when I suck in my stomach a little I can see the outline of her head. It used to be maybe 2 inches below my ribs and now it's even with my belly button and my clothes aren't fitting the way they were even a few days ago!

| blondie - DH and I were totally freaked out about sex and didn't DTD until after the 1st trimester! We were going to wait until after the 1st ultrasound but when we found out about the triplets we just didn't, then when we found out we lost one we freaked about it and decieded to wait until we were out the 1st trimester. We haven't really done it that much, mostly b/c I am just not in the mood. I've gotten so big so fast ....I'm been very uncomfertable w/ stuff like that.
Refrain- I am so sorry about your grandpa. Things are really tough for your right now, keep hanging in there.
Tummy - I am so sorry about your ectopic. I'm glad to hear that your tube has been saved though. I hope the next few months go by fast so you can start your next round or IVF or whatever!
caligirl - I doubt they would induce me any earlier then 38 full weeks. I like to think that since their weights are so great and that their lungs appear to be already working that they wouldn't have to be in the NICU at all. DH had a fellow co-worker have her twins at 34 weeks (both over 5 lbs) and both were great and went home with her at the end of the visit. But I do not think anyone really knows for sure.
Well, I had a intresting night last night. Yesterday evening I started having contractions. They may have been the real thing or just BH, I'm not sure. The BH's I've been having haven't been very painful, but last night I was having alot while watching TV and they were kinda painful. Same thing throughout the night last night while "attempting" sleep. This morning they have slowed down, but I'm not sure what's up with it. I am getting my cervix checked today, but I'm kinda hoping/thinking something might be starting to happen. I'm not sure though, it could be all in my head. I think this pregnancy is changing me from a rational person to a person who is desperate for something to happen and may be making stuff up in her mind. We'll see.

Whitney, I am SO sorry! I am glad that they caught it in time, though so that your tube didn't rupture. I hope you are feeling better soon. Looking forward to seeing you back on this thread!

| Blondie: I think DH and I BD during week 3, but I didn't know I was pregnant. After that we waited until week 10 or so becaus I was sick and not in the mood. My DH has been very understanding, too and that helps.
Autrn: Your evening does sound interesting. Let us know what is happening.

| Well, my cervix has softened and flattened out, and the doctor told me that it's only opened a nudge (what's a nudge?) and not worth noting. But she said something is happening, which is awsome! Well, more awsome if next week even more happens or the babies suddenly pops out! Last week my cervix was still hard and long, so we do for sure have some changes.
The ultrasound went great, Isabelle was sucking on her hand and Alexa was yawning and sleepy looking. So all is well!!!!
