Heidi--congrats on a boy and girl! Yeah! And like others said, I'm sure the girl's heart is fine. They've sometimes had trouble finding things with mine, and I only have one in there, so I can only imagine it being harder to find things with two in there.

Codi--I had a belly button ring, but I took it out when I got my first 'grown up' job, so it's been a few years, but like Evyn said, my top hole has moved up and now that I have the icky outie, you can see the bottom hole too. Mine never completely closed up, but it would take some effort to get a ring back in there.

Evyn--sorry you are so tired! At least it's almost the weekend so just veg out and do nothing...

Rose--congrats on the good u/s! Isn't it amazing what a difference a few weeks can make! And congrats on the 'boy' although I do have to tell you my experience...at 14 weeks my doctor said he was 70% sure it was a boy based on what he saw in the u/s. He said he was more than 70%, but since it was so early he wanted to give some error room. Well, my 19week u/s showed a nice little girl! (I still have them check each time that she's still a girl, lol). And I never 'felt' like she was a boy. When he told me that, I was like, cool! But I had been thinking girl all along, and when it was changed to a girl, it just felt right. So who knows! I'm just glad that I only bought one little boy t-shirt.

13--I don't think I'll be doing a manual flip if she doesn't turn. For some reason my husband is against it, so that's fine with me. But I'll be doing all sorts of those tricks to try and get her to flip! Congrats on your new job! It sounds awesome! It's so nice to be excited about work...

Sheepie - I've been wondering how seriously I should take the techinician. I've been looking at pictures online and everything I've read says that both boy and girl parts look the same around this time so it's hard to tell. I shouldn't have told my mom, she's probably out right now buying everything in blue! I guess time will tell. I hope your little girl turns soon.

Question!

Is it normal to not feel the baby move sometimes? Normally I feel her all through out the day. Since Saturday I have only felt her a couple times. I always feel her at night when I get in bed, and last night--nothing. Im trying not to worry. I figure a lot of you will have an experience with this!!

Good morning, ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day.

Saturday I went maternity clothes shopping. I feel like I didn't come home with much, yet spent lots of money (LOL). Had to buy new bras. Before pregnancy I was small and in between and A & B cup, now I'm a C cup. Wow, DH likes that! (LOL)

I also have a question and like Evyn, I am trying not to be concerned. Is it normal at this stage to have cramping and sometimes pressure?

Bobbysgirl--I went from a C to a D! I feel HUGE in the boob department.

And the cramping thing, I still get that sometimes. I think what Im having recently is actually Braxton Hicks contractions..because my stomach will tighten up and get hard. Other times it feels like AF cramping. Not quite painful, but tight.

Evyn- It's normal, but when it happened to me it totally freaked me out. I went in to check the heart beats one time b/c I was so freaked out. If you get real concerned just call the doctor and they will let you come in and listen to the baby's heartbeat.

Bobbysgirl - I know what you mean. Maternity clothes are so freaking expensive when you are only going to wear it this one time in your life (well, at least for me - and often times you will want new stuff for each pregnancy). I have only a few things left that fit me and I am praying I'll have these babies before I can not fit into anything!

No actions this weekend. I had alot of conractions last night in a span of 2 hrs, but then they slowed down and stopped! Darn it! I was getting excited there for a minute but then nothing! Oh well. I am going to the fire dept. to get my car seats checked today. Also making a stop at the library and bank. I hope maybe getting out might get things moving agian. I keep telling the babies it's ok to come out now, but so far they are not listening to me.

On a sweet note! DH came to me yesterday before church and was like, "Look what I found in the girls room!" And then he hands me a card! It's a really cute card written from a babies point of view and then it's signed by the girls w/ a little note saying they are going to be coming out soon! I only pray they are!

Hey ladies,

Hope everyone had a good mothers day! DH sent me a card in the mail from the babies and got me the willow tree figurines of twins...he did good :-D.
We went and registered Saturday at BRU, it was fun...but long too.
Aturn and Refrain-did you guys use your multiples discount at BRU? I mentioned we were having twins and the lady was like I'm so glad you told me you can use your multiples discount! So we bought 2 sets of bedding and saved $15 on each set!
Not much else to report...I have been feeling the babies, but not too consistently or too often yet.

Bobbysgirl-maternity clothes shopping can be fun but definately costs way to much, lol! I actually only have like 2 pairs of pants and I'm still wearing my t-shirts...I do laundry often just because I dont want to buy too much!

hsuter - They told us about about the BRU multiple discount, but we didn't have to use it b/c we got everything off the registry as gifts. Great score though saving the money! I agree though, registrying took way to long. I struggled at the end. The only thing I have left to get is a breast pump. I am holding off to make sure I am able to breast feed and also I have a $40 off coupon to a local maternity store that is good for the next 3 months. I am going to rent one from the hospital for $10 a month till I feel like I can do the breast feeding thing for the long haul.

Here's a ? for you girls. I've heard it's great to breast feed for at least 6 months, but I was thinking about doing it for a whole year if I can. I've known woman to do this but do you think it's going to be possible w/ twins?

Hi girls!

I hope you had a good Soon-to-be mother's day weekend (or actual mother's day if you are already one!). Mine was good--we got around to do a lot of organizing and cleaning. It's sad when that becomes a 'good' weekend.

Evyn--I think it's normal to not feel the baby sometimes. I think, too, that you're still early enough that movements won't always be felt by you, but are actually going on on the inside. But, if it worries you, like I always say, give your doctor a call--it's what they are there for (says the girl who didn't call her dr last weekend when I didn't feel the baby as much and my dr got mad!)

Bobbysgirl--I think ALL pregnancy is normal to have cramping and pressure, lol. I think a lot of it has to do with stretching of the uterus, which you are in prime time stretching mode!

Maternity clothes. I tried to buy as little as I could, which is amazing since I am such a clothes person! But I didn't want to 'waste' my money on something that I might never wear again. I bought several tshirts from Target, a nice pair of designer jeans (hey, I'm a snob!), a pair of Gap jeans, a few other pairs of pants, a couple skirts, a couple dresses, and a couple shirts. I only outgrew stuff starting this past week or 2, so that's pretty good, but almost more annoying, because I have such a small time left that I don't want to go out and buy more stuff, but I don't want to be indecent at work either!

contractions...I think I might have had some this weekend! But I'm not really sure. It was just a really crampy/achy feel and spread to my back. It felt like AF was coming. But lasted for like half and hour and then would go away...

Aturn and Heidi--that's cute about the cards from the babies!

Aturn--about the BF--I have NO idea. I would imagine if you are able to do it from the start then you'd be fine to keep going. Like if you never had issues then I think it'd be possible. That's awesome that you're thinking of doing it for that long. I'm definitely planning on it until I go back to work at 3 months, and then see how things go from there.

Thanks ladies for your answers. I was a little worried about the cramps, etc., but didn't want to call my doctor yet. In the back of my mind, I figured it was probably normal and things stretch, etc.
