Marking my spot... there is also the option of starting a "group" As far as I know it doesn't have a message limit AND most thrilling to me is that it can be moderated so that unless you are an actual member of the group no one can read what you write. We have that set up for my dec moms. Only draw back is that it doesn't notify you when someone writes on it you have to go check it. BUT, you can share photos and everything with MUCH more privacy (Thin section is not blocked at all! The mom and expecting boards have some privacy features, but the thin board does not... anyone can read what we write vs on the mom or expecting board you have to be a member to see it) Just a thought.... if there is interest let me know and I can set it up.
Auturn: I am glad to hear you are feeling better, there is nothing better than being able to see the light. Hang in there. Have you looked into any multiple mommy groups in your area? I have some friends that do multiples and love them!! They both started very early on and were able to build a nice support team.
Amy - Thanks! It is better now that I am feeling alot better and seeing clearly agian.
Trish - I'm intrested to. I am not sure how it works, but I'm sure I'd figure it out quickly.
In case anyone missed my post on the last one....
I haven't posted in forever! I just wanted to say hi to everyone and hope that all is doing well. I am doing so much better with my post-partum depression. It was kinda bad, but I've been on Paxil for 3 weeks and have a nerve pill I take when I feel rough. I am doing 100% better!
The girls are doing great! Alexa was 9 lbs 5 oz and Isabelle was 8 lbs 13 oz at the last doctors apt. Alexa is still a little more fussy then her sister, but they are both pretty good babies. I am still doing it mostly on my own, but my mother helped out a lot during those rough weeks. She comes over once a week now just to help me out and visit. The biggest news is that the girls sleep from 8pm till at least 3:30 every night for over a week now! It's crazy, but great! I am back working every Sat. now, it's a good break but I do miss the girls. I'll be hoping to check back in more often now that I am feeling better.

I have it moderated so you will need to "join" first. Once you get added you should be able to read content. I'll try to check in frequently until everyone gets on (and if we have future members... just click to join!) To find it in the future go to user cp at the top fo the page and then on teh right of that page is the "social groups" section.
I will also try to "invite" some of you, but it'll depend on how well my little one is behaving if I get to all of you so don't take ti personally if I dont' get right to you.. I won't be leaving anyone out! Just request to join if you don't recieve an actual invite.
Aturn-let me ask you how you do it. When I do feedings by myself I'm flipping out. Maybe its just because both of my kids are screaming/crying when there isn't a bottle in their mouth during feed time (I have the most impatient babies ever [I wonder where they get it from ]...but I'm trying to figure out if there are any tricks of the trade.
By the time feeding is over I'm almost always in tears because it takes almost 1.5-2 hours to feed/burp/diaper them by myself and I'm exhausted trying to attend to each of their needs.
Are you breast feeding? if so then I can see how dual feedings can go a lot smoother...maybe

RJ weighs 16lbs 9.5ozs. The doc said we can feed him cereal and fruit 2 times a day if he wants. We started him sleeping in his own bed last night. I only fed him at 1 then again at 5, but he was up almost every hour whinning. My poor baby.

Refrain - I just do it, that's all I can say. It's getting better everyday though. It's very hard on your nerves though when two babies are crying, so I totally understand the tears. I try my best to stick to a routine but try to be flexable to. I swear by this to... I take two walks a day! Once in the morning after the first feedings and in the evenings before DH gets home. My neighbhors have even have stopped me and said .."How many times do you walk those babies!?!" But it gets me out of the house and keeps me sane! Oh and also my doctor gave me a nerve pill when the going gets rough! ~ I stopped breastfeeding, so just bottle now. How are things with you? How are your twins sleeping now?
The girls actually slept through the night last night! Went to bed at 9:00 and slept until 7:30!!! How great is that. I am not expecting it every night, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel! Hee Hee.

So the twins have a new disposition. This weekend we decided to let them sleep at night. We have been waking them for their scheduled feedings at 9pm, 12am, 3am, 6am and we finally just said..ya know, lets see how they do.
They went to bed at 7pm after eating at 6pm, slept until 2am and then 6am. We have totally different babies. DS is even smiling.
I think by continuously waking them up to feed them at night we were robbing them of sleep. But now...I don't know what to do. After bedtime (7pm), do I just let them sleep? Do I wake them for a dream feed at 9-10pm? What if they wake up at 5am? Our first feed of the day is at 6am, it would throw the whole day off.
Man, having two sure does but a kink in a lot of things...if it was just one, I'd let them schedule themselves during the night/early morning and not sweat it.
Aturn-I admire you. I only do 1 feeding a day by myself, the rest I have help on...and that 1 I just dread. You're my new hero.

Refrain...Obviously I can only give you the perspective from a single baby but I just let her eat when she is hungry. If she were to fall asleep at 7pm, I would wake her at 10pm and feed her and put her to bed. She has been sleeping 7-10 hours at night for about 3-4 weeks now. So when she wakes up in the morning I feed her. I did read babywise which I think you are going by. I'm not following it but you could start the morning feeding time when one wakes up and just wake up the other. Then just go with your routine from there. I think you will have some happier babies when they start learning to sleep longer. I understand it's not this easy since you have twins but thought I would see if my experience helps. Good Luck.

Now, i've never had the best sleepers as infants, so not sure anything I say is any help, but IMO I wouldn't get too bogged down on a particular routine as tehy CONSTANTLY change. And its really hard to know if you arent' letting them lead the way. (Like Cali though, I speaking from one baby) I consider myself very scheduled to a degree, we LOVE our routines, but I wouldn't wake to feed either. From my experience, they go back and forth, they'll sleep great for a few weeks and then go back to to waking multiple times a night. There are milestones beign met, teeth being cut, growth spurts etc... that change their patterns up. I personally try to go with the flow.
And don't forget to go check out the groups! It won't remind you when there are new postings.
