I think im losing my supply... im not sure if its because im not getting in enough calories or because i am eating the wrong things... i just dont know anymore... but i am so sad...!!!

as of right now i am only pumping again since ds does seem to want to stay content at the boob... he seems like he is struggling to get milk and then doesnt want to latch back on even with the nipple shield... i am trying to up my intake of fluid but its hard being post gastric bypass...

I can imagine. It is hard for me to drink water being that I do not like it one bit.
Have you tried any supplements? Try not to stress too much. That could have something to do with it as well. I am not an expert though.

Hey!
I am back and my daughter is doing well! We got home from the hospital on Sunday but I picked up a horrible virus from the ICU, I had a 104 fever. I have been back on Sc's but only for bf'ing questions, my supply took a little dip and I have a little piggy at home.
Anyway, thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers, they are greatly appreciated!

Amy - Ooo, glad you are feeling better and hope you're getting all the rest & nursing you need to get your supply back up.
Hi Amanda! Thanks for asking, we are doing well. Your latest picture of RJ is adorable!! We had a rough time earlier this week --growth spurt maybe? DD was nursing a TON -- like every hour to hour and a half and not letting me sleep at all, but then starting Wed was getting better and today I swear she is trying to make up for lost sleep and I'm having to wake her up to eat. We had the 1 month pedi appt today (already!) and DD is up to 9lbs2oz and everything looks good. She does have some of the baby acne, though, but the pedi said it should clear up in the next month or so.
Just curious -- how long has it taken the thin moms (generally) to lose their baby weight? I still have about 15-16 lbs to lose.

Thats good to hear about the sleep Jen. RJ has been a handful today. Only took one long nap. Like now he is up but sleepy. Why do they fiht sleep? lol Thanks for the comp on the pic. RJ's face is broken out 2.
