Hello ladies! I am a thin cyster (5'0" 100lbs) and I was wondering if anyone has successfully conceived while on metformin. Did it work for anyone? Please ladies let me know!!! Thanks!

I was on Met (2000mg) but I was also taking Clomid too...

I practically never ovulated on my own, so the plan with my doc was to start met in March, get my body used to the met first, then start Clomid in August. I was pregnant in June! For me, the met was my miracle drug, and it brought me my precious baby way faster than I expected! We're getting ready to TTC again this summer, and I am praying the met works the same way again!

I was on Met for 3 years to control symptoms such as hairloss, acne, etc but I was on BCP as well. In October 2006 I went off the BCP as I got married and and got a BFP in February 2007. My little girl was born on the 16th of October 2007 - exactly a year since I went off BCP! So yes, Met definitely was a big factor in my pregnancy I believe. Good luck!
I just started Metformin about 6 weeks ago and got pregnant on my first cycle with it. I am also on 5mg of letrezol. I have been ttc for 2.5 years, so I would say the combination of the 2 was my miracle combo.
Been a bit busy with a newborn, but someone already posted about me above. For me, whatever month I start met in is the month I end up giving birth the following year (3 times now!). Good luck!
My cycle became regular immediately on Met. I ovulated the first month, got pregnant the second. It made me a little sick, but nothing I couldn't handle.
