Default thin women insulin resistant, is that possible?

im a thin woman with pcos. is it possible that i am insulin resistant or is it mainly pcos women that are not very thin that are insulin resistant.. how do i find out cos my doctor never mentioned this.. would i have certain symptoms if i am insulin resistant.. anyone give me any advice. i wanted to try the insulite system to improve symptoms of pcos but figured that if im not insulin resistant it would be kind of silly..

It is VERY possible that thin cysters are insulin resistant. Ask your doc about it. You should have your free insulin tested. I'm a thin cyster as well and they say I'm not insulin resistant (which is wonderful news), but sometimes I question being on the brink of it.

I am not overweight. I wouldn't say that I am thin, either. I was just recently diagnosed with IR, and was told to be careful not to lose too much weight as the meds are not intended for that in my case. So, I would say yet, it is possible.
