I am thankful for God, that He has given me a second chance. He has renewed my heart and my soul and my love for my husband.
I'm thankful for my husband, for his forgiving heart and his loving way. Thankful he sees me as "beautiful" when I feel anything but. Thankful that he stands beside me no matter what. Thankful that he understands when I just need to cry, and thankful that he understood why I didn't want to go to my SIL's baby showers.
I'm thankful for the love that we share now. I have never felt like this, even when we first got married. I honestly feel that he completes me. And even though I wouldn't make them again, I'm thankful for the mistakes I've made, that have brought us to this point.
I'm thankful for this website, for my cysters. Thankful that no matter what I can think of, all I have to say is "Have you ever?" and at least 3 people will say "yes I have" in the next hour. I'm thankful for the laughs we share and the fun we have, and for the support that we can give each other.
I'm thankful for my sister/cysters from the weight loss forum. They are the best friends I could ever hope for. They pray for me, listen to me, and sympathize with me.
And even on days like today when I could just sit here and either pull my hair out, or cry for hours, I'm thankful for my job. It's wonderful to able to help people, even if it's from behind a telephone and a computer screen. I'm thankful for my pilots, who are fun loving, easy going and even if I screw up, they still tell me they love me. LOL. I'm thankful for my crews, who love their job so much, they lay their lives on the line, every shift, to help people. I'm thankful that I found a job that can satisify the adrinaline rush I used to get from working EMS....well, almost.
And I'm thankful for you...thanks for reading. I feel much better.
