I have been going to the bathroom alot more than usuall and get up 3 times during the night and I didnt get my period this month can this mean i have diabetes? Any one have the same symptoms?
Mylissa, you shouldn't worry yourself by assuming you have diabetes based on those symptoms alone. Have you ever had any problems controlling your blood sugar?
mylissa, you should check out the "stickies" at the begging of the Diabetes (Type II) forum to learn more about the symptoms of insulin resistance and diabetes.
Do you have PCOS? Have you gained weight recently? Are you overweight? PCOS and/or even a slight weight gain decreases your body's sensitivity to insulin, resulting in higher-than-normal blood sugar levels. Frequent urination and increased thirst are both related to hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). PCOS also has a strong link to insulin resistance, for which a lot of women take metformin to lower their blood sugar levels and, often times, restore ovulation.
Unchecked high blood sugar can be very dangerous. So, I'd recommend placing a call in to your doctor and asking to have your fasting glucose level tested. Otherwise, you can buy a home glucose monitoring kit from most any drugstore.
i'm on a very low carb, zero sugar diet. All i eat is meat and veggies. still no weight loss.
my sugar glucose came up 97. when i eat anything with sugar i get dizzy and my feet get fuzzy. my doctor said i'm not diabetic i'm fine. but i know something is wrong. i just want the meds to help me lose weight and get back on tract, when i feel normal again i will stop them. does this sound reasonable?
You know what I tried that is helping me its called Acai Berry Detox and get the colon clenser with it ...you should look into it. Its been helping me loose weight which before i never was.
