Check the sticky at the top! Good place to start. Call some agencies in your area and meet with them. Research agencies on the internet. Take a look at adoption books and see what they offer. "Adoptive Family" magazine is a great source of information as well.

Congradulations making the decision to look into adoption. Like mentioned previously the sticky at the top of the adoption forum is great. Adoption.com is a great place to learn stuff. There is a lot of info out there... waiting to be read. Also, these women are all so informed and would love to help!

I'm working with a non-prof that has a contract with the state to place 'hard to place' children... children currently in foster care. Let me know if would like any info on that.
