how long after a m/c did it take for your body to get back into a cycle?
I went into labour on the 9th and had my girls on the 9th and 10th August, I had a d&c after because I was bleeding and had not passed all of Rose's placenta. I bled for 2 1/2 weeks but it was only like a light period and even that got lighter towards the end of the 2nd week and then ended middle of last week. Over the weekend I've been feeling a bit crampy and like AF was due to arrive but nothing happened.
Does all this sound sortof normal?
thanks
Helen

The IUI went good, RE said that the sperm count was excellent and that everything went perfect. It hurt a tiny bit, and now I am cramping and have some spotting. I took an HPT this morning before we left to make sure the HCG from the trigger was in my system and it was positive. Light, but definitely there.
I started having BAD cramping and pain about an hour before the IUI was done, RE thinks that it was ovulation. I wonder though.... as Righty has the follie, but Lefty was the one doing the pinching/pain .... so, I wonder if maybe I had a follie hiding??? Who knows.... lol
Jules, AWESOME on the weight loss, Congrats!!!
Hela, I am not sure hun, but I am sorry for your losses. **HUGS**

well, it is another heartbreaking month for me. Today is CD1. I was hoping that I can could get pg on our own. I think I am going to increase the soy from 80mg to 120mg and see if I can get any better results. I am seriously thinking about going to see an accupunte next month. I am going to be out of town this month for business right during my progected O time. So I am sure this will be another bust.
Jules- Congrats on the weight loss! yay!
Kim- I pray that the IUI works for you. It worked for me twice so I pray that you will have great luck, and a sticky baby!
Hela- I am not sure either I would check with your doc.
Sorry I wasn't able to post much yesterday. We had 3 couples, 2 single men, 8 children, & a BBQ! It really was alot of fun & I needed the conversation. But now I'm up with insomnia again. Tomorrow is the 1st day of school for DS (1st grade). He's a bit nervous so I'm going to go into his classroom with him tomorrow.
Ok, my good news that I wanted to post earlier, but was away from the puter.....I am pretty sure I started to O Sunday night through till definately Monday evening! I had left side ovary pains, CP was SHOW, & CM was EW & real stretchy! I can't believe it, I O on my own on cd 23! It's a little late, but it's still possible. I can't lose hope that we can still get preggers on our own IF my RE says he wants me to take a break next month. I pray not, but it's always possible. I plan on testing in 2wks, so cd 37 is Sept 17th! I can't believe I O on Labor Day---maybe in 9 months I will be IN Labor???!!!!

Heidi: Awesome beta. Great news. JUles: You posted your weight! Good for you; you are a very very brave cyster, stronger than I'll ever be, girlfriend. Congratulations to you. Kim: Congrats on he trigger and IUI. SOunds promising that you had some pain prior to IUI. Could be a great sign and you know that spotting after is normal. Good Luck for a quick and positive 2ww. Hannah: Good to hear from you. Hela: Sounds pretty normal to me. Sometimes the post-D&C bleeding can appear to stop and then start up a few days later too--I think this is all quite normal. Remember too that you were quite far along when you lost your beautiful babies--give it some time to regulate. I wish you all the best.
My update: I have been really feeling nothing, but some AF-like cramps when I am in bed on my left pelvic side, where my remaining OV is. I am CD25 today and figure AF will rear her ugly head any day--I know I have to be positive but there is no boobal area pain like in the past. I am 11 dp trigger and don't POAS until 9/11 if I make it that far. Separately, today was very exciting as my DS started KINDERGARTEN. I will try to post a pic of him and one of him and me (he has a puss face on), so you all can see what I look like. I'm struggling to make them small, so they don't take up a ton of space here. (first time)

Hello there buddies, Well the silence here at home is welcomed, but still I miss having DS here with me. Oh well, school comes before mom right now. I got a migraine headache this morning getting DS ready for school. I've slept alot today with the blankets over my head to prevent a glimmer of light from hitting my face. Do any of you ladies get these type of headaches? It really stinks! I also think my body needed much rest with the whilwind of activity this past month. DH just phoned & said he has to work late tonight -- it's hard sometimes him being a boss at his work. So I guess I'm going to order Pizza for dinner! YUM! I can cheat on my eating plan on a night that I don't have DH to cook for me, right??? hehehe.....secretly looking for a reason to eat pizza! Oh, I could probably just eat the toppings since most of the carbs are in the crust. Anyways, not much else going on. I'm happily into the 2ww. Oh, thanks ladies on the Kuddo's on the weight loss. I can't even explain how happy I am & how proud of ME. Hoping the weight will continue to melt off & the loss helps me get preggers! *TMI* DH is definately MORE responsive in bed with the weight loss. Now mind you, I'm more confident & I'm sure that shows & DH likes that I'm feeling good about me, so he's so much more receptive. It sure makes BD alot more fun! I hate this belly apron, but thankful that it's shrinking! Ok, enough babbling.....sorry ladies, I know you're prolly thinking "doesn't that Jules ever shut up?!!" LMBO!
Brenda, hey there my friend! How are you feeling today? ---Yep! I'm very proud of my weight at this time. Coming from me, somone who a year ago, come October, was unable to get weighed at the doc's offices. The scale stopped at 350lbs & still didn't break even for me, so I weighed MORE than that! I'm so happy & motivated by my weight loss---I WANT MORE! hehehehe I told DH I want to keep losing (goal weight is 160)......but I want to do it in a healthy manner. I don't care how long it takes me. I really still can't believe how easy this low carb/higher protein program is to live by. I honestly think I could do this for the rest of my life. Even if I get PG, I'm still going to follow it to a certain degree. I'll try to focus on maintaining my weight instead of losing. When I do get PG, I'll be proud to sport my buddah belly!!! *BIG SMILE* Oh Brenda, your DS is a cutie! And you are so pretty! Girl, it's so good to put a face with the name cheereeo! Thanks for sharing yourself & DS with us!
Everyone else~I hope & pray that you're all doing well & off enjoying your DH's. Maybe getting in some BD'ing? Or are you in the 2ww? I'm thinking of all of you & pray that good things are coming for this thread....like some more BFP's!! Yeah!. Ok, take care & have a great day!
