Default thinking of going off yaz for a few months

i'm 16, i got diagnosed with pcos this fall
i was 175 pounds and 5,6". My doctor immediately put me on yaz to regulate my periods and i joined cross country and through diet and exercise i now weigh 148 pounds. When i was a freshman i weighed 155 and i had regular periods. For my sanity I need to know if i can have regular periods again naturally. Are the symptoms of pcos reversable? do you think it is safe for me to go off yaz for the summer just to see if my body is healthy again? I'm hesitant to do this because i dont know if my hormones are back to normal. But i really need to because not knowing if my body is healthy again is really making me depressed.
any advice would be great

I would talk to your doctor about your concerns.
