I used to have such pretty hands but now they look so old! I notice all the time how wrinkly they are, and it has just happened over the last year or so. I keep lotion in my purse and on my desk and am constantly lotioning my hands because they're so dry and papery-looking. (I too am only 29, and I'm getting married next year and imagining the close-up pictures of mine and hubby's rings. It will look like he's marrying an old lady!

)
I was diagnosed as hypothyroid in November, and have been on thyroid meds ever since. Once I found out, I assumed the old lady hands were because of dry skin, a symptom of hypo. I didn't know about thinning skin.
So is thinning skin reversible? So far my thyroid meds haven't made me feel any different or changed any symptoms, but I've got my fingers crossed.
