This week I will feel like I have to pee ALOT but when I sit down to pee I have a hard time getting it to come out. Once it does start to come out I have a hard time keeping the flow going until my bladder is empty even when my bladder is really full. Anyone else having this issue? I never had this happen to me with either of my other pregnancies.

I'm only in the second trimester but began noticing this a few times a week a couple of weeks ago. It's on my list of questions for next week's midwife appointment, but I will keep an eye on this because I'm curious!

YES! me! I was just diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder. I kept telling my doctor this was happening to me since the beginning of my second trimester and she kept telling me it was normal. Last week when she examined me to do the b strep culture she told me that I had a bit of cystocele (bladder sticking out) I came home, got a mirror and looked down there and almost had a heart attack. My bladder is sticking out To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I'm just thankful I can still pee, with difficulty but I can still do it. I read that some women cannot pee at all when they have this problem.
Anyway, she told me that normally this doesn't happen to women while they're pregnant, but after they deliver. I'm really hoping to go back to normal once I deliver the baby (via c section because of this) and I don't have long term consequences. I'm not saying this is what you have, but mention it to your doctor, or get a mirror and look down there.

nothing is sticking out that I notice. I will be asking my Dr. about it next visit. It just has started happening recently. I thought maybe the baby is laying on some nerves or blocking something so it is harder to pee. I have no clue. Lots of pressure down there though

My son is going back to school tomorrow. He has been fever free for 48hrs. Thanks for asking. He is doing great, although a little on the cranky side from being cooped up for a week. lol. I can't say I blame him.

I was reading What to Expect when your Expecting last night and it did talk about as the baby gets bigger sometimes the uterus will press down on the Urethra (tube that leads out of your bladder) so that pg women have trouble peeing. It also says that a doctor can manually move things to sort the problem out. I hope you get it all figured out.
