Question for those on clomid?!

Hello,
I was just wondering if someone can tell me about any significant feelings or goings-on while on clomid.

For example, I'm on day 15 today and I took clomid days 5 to 9. Yesterday I got a weird feeling, like AF was about to come, it only lasted about a minute but I wondered if anyone else had had that feeling. Also the day before that it felt like my ovaries were throbbing, only mildly but I could feel it.

Anyone had anything like that? I'm just curious because of course I want to know if the clomid is working!!

Thank You!

Sharky

Hi Sharky

do you do BBT, that is take your temp every morning before you get up, that will tell you if you ovulate or not, if you go to www.fertilityfriend.com, this is a good website and will tell you your fertile days when to bms. I took clomid a good few times, hoping to get it again maybe tomorrow, it didnt work for me untill i took 150mg and then only 1 every couple of months. when i was ovulating I got severe pain on my right side, but that was only my 2nd time ovulating so I guess there was a good fight going on inside of me to release that eggie
I would highly reccomend that website, are you being monitored by ultrasound, then you will know if you will ovulate or maybe they will do a day21 progesterone test.

this answer is abit all over the place, hope i helped somewhat, if i can help with anything else let me know, or pm me.

Good luck
Gypsy

I think it sounds like you are getting ready to o!

I agree that fertilityfriend.com is a great online charting.

Best of luck

Default Clomid

I started Clomid again for the 2nd time in Jan 03 and had no strange feelings - maybe cause as one of the other messages said best time to take it is at bedtime that way you should sleep through any your may have.

It worked first time for me which is good news, but unfortuntely i lost the baby at about 8.5 weeks ( nothing to do with the Clomid i must add) there was only a sac and no baby, just bad bad luck.

But good news is i have hospital appointment on the 6th May and hoping that he will start me on clomid again!

best of luck with yours, hope it all goes exceptionally well.

Caron

I have got a bit weepy a day or two before O is due. I say 'due' because I did O 2 days after this the first time. i got the 'weepy' sensation around about the same time, but didn't O this time till a weekand a half after that (don't ask! It's been a weird cycle this one).

I don't remember noticing anything else round O time, but then I get twinges and stuff anyway sometimes, so it would be hard to say what was from Clomid and what not. Also I barely notice them half the time anyway - too used to them!

I have noticed feeling very rough the day before I get AF, which I've never had before and that has to be the Clomid. It also gives me really bad yeast infections.

I think Tracy is right - you may be about to O, or you were feeling the egg release. Let's hope so, eh?

Hope it all goes well for you,
Safia
