Default For those that have done provera and it taking a long time

I am beyond frustated right now. I am currently waiting for my first cycle to begin with doing a round of clomid with my RE. I have PCOS and very irregular cycles. Normally it would take provera 7 to 8 days after taking my last pill for AF to show. Normally I would have spotting or something showing me AF is on the way. I had very light spotting friday but since then nada! I have been on metformin for almost 3 months so could the metformin be affecting the provera to work? Oh and I was also sick for almost a week so could that have messed provera working? So for those that have done provera and it took a long time for AF to come how long did it take?

how many days were you on the provera?

I've been on 5, 7, and 10... 5 didn't work at all.

I was on provera for 10 days. And I've never had an issue with it taking so long. Normally it would come 7-8 days and now I'm on day 8 of no more provera and I'm still no closer to having AF.
