Default For those on met, how long until AF returned?

Hi ladies,
I am newly diagnosed with PCOS. I just started met last week, I started on 1000mg last week and this week I am going up to 2000mg. I'm just wondering how long it normally takes for AF to return? It's been about a month since I last had AF (provera induced). I know everyone is different, but I'm just anxious for her to return (never thought I would say that, LOL) and am wondering what the average is.
Thanks!

hey, momma, i was wondering too..this is week #2 on 1000mg and i have no af...last one was over a month ago...doc has no plan to up the doseage just yet, but im thinking of calling her to inquire about the possibility...PCOS does strange things to women....like making them wish they had AF!!

Everyone is definitely different I was on 1000mg for 6 months and never saw AF. Just relax and see what happens is all I can say. GL

I got AF 3 or 4 weeks after I started taking it. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but it seemed to help

I got AF 3 weeks after I started Met. Week 1 500mg, week 2 1000mg, and week 3 1500mg. Before taking Met I had gone close to 2 years without AF, now AF has been fairly regular for the past 1 1/2 years.

I think the norm is 3-6 months to get the met in your system to get the most benefit.
When not on met I am totally anovulatory. I stopped bcp, started met and got AF 40 days later. Been getting AF around every 38-40 or so days ever since.

I had AF 2 weeks after starting 1 week of 1000mg Met and then 1 week of 1500mg Met. 2 weeks before my AF I had a Provera induced AF.
