Has anyone heard of taking more than 45mg's of actos a day? I was just wondering what is considered a high dose.

Ccobrian, did you get pg on Actos? Just wondering. Congratulations!!!

I'm starting Actos tonight after finding out that my symptoms (bloodwork) had gotten worse on Met instead of better.

Have you or anyone else had an side effects from taking it?

My doctor has said that the Actos does not cause any uncomfortable side effects like the Glucophage does, but it does make weight loss very difficult. I know first hand about this one. It has become very hard to lose weight while taking the Glucophage and the Actos.

Yes, i got pg on actos! thanks for the congrats and i didn't have any side effects like gluc...i had horrible s/e on gluc i couldn't handle it! good luck! I just found out that we were pg again so we are very happy!

I haven't had any side effects either. And I've lost 62lbs since last August, so I don't have any trouble loosing weight. Actos was an answer to my prayers. The only thing I have noticed is..I freeze to death! All the time! Do you guys have that problem?
