 For those who feel better OFF BCP's / Interesting thing
I have determined that being off BCP's is better for me than on. My first month off was last august. Its now Feb/ 7th month and JUST NOW THE EFFECTS OF THE BCPS HAVE WORN OFF. Ladies I was shocked that it took 6 whole months to get out of my system. I always heard it took 3. I know that it took 6 because my periods didn't seem to return to the way they were when i was not on any meds. Plus I had some of the other side effects too. This month my period is like how it always was before BCPs. I attributed it to getting older cause now I am 43, but I see that the darned stuff was still in my system. So for anyone anxious to get rid of the side effects by stopping BCP's just don't get discouraged if it takes longer than you think it will. |
