I sadly received an message from Raven (Storm Dreams) earlier today where she informed me that her husband apparently was shot and killed yesterday. She is extremely upset. Please say a prayer for both Raven and her daughter Nichole Victoria that they can make it through this very difficult time. If I find out any further information I will certainly share it with everyone.

Andrea, please send me and my husband's condolences if you get to talk to her. I haven't met Raven personally, but I was supposed to see her tomorrow when she invited me to a support group here in Philly. I know she is a very good person and I really feel for her. She has gone through a lot and I pray she can get through this hurdle as well.
Here is a link to local news station's story on the shooting. They interviewed his best friend and show beautiful pictures of Veno, Raven and Nichole. Tonight they actually interviewed Raven but that video is not available yet. When it is available I will be sure to post it here. Raven looked so desolate. I don't even know how she had the strength to do the interview.

This is crazy, you all would not believe that I am a deaconess at the church the they attend (Sharon Baptist Church), I do not know Raven personnally, but I have seen her and her husband at the church, our church is a 7,000 member church. When I heard about this story on Sunday morning in church, I was really heartbroken, but now that I know that she is a cyster this makes it worst.

Oh my dear lord....I didn't know her either...but I couldn't help but cry for her! I can't imagine! I pray for her and her daughter and all of the family and friends!! Oh my.... I wish I could do more!!
