Question Those of you who have had success with soy...

Hello cysters...

I just had a loss at 19 weeks, back to ttc again...

Just want to know for those of you who have had success with soy protein isoflavones, what did you use--powder or tablets? And what was your dosage?

Thanks a lot!

I'm sending you lots of hughs .... . I'm so sorry to hear that you had a loss. Please, don't give up !!

For me, today is my first time to use the soy capsules - but I read that most of us cysters usually take the capsules (there are around 50 mg isoflavone in one capsule) because it is more simple to handle than the powder. I've taken 3 of those capsules today in the morning and will take the same dose the next 4 days. Some take only 2 capsules, some take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. You should try it for your own what's the best for you. It should react in a similar way as clomid but some cysters doesn't react on 50 mg clomid, though, for example, on 150 mg. Other cysters react very nice on 50 mg clomid only. You have to test it out.

If I were you, I would try it at first with at least two 50 mg capsules a day (five days long; if possible, cd 3-7 or 5-9). If it turns out good for you (what means that you ovulate), it would be possible to less your dose to 1 capsule, if it is not enough for you, try it with 3-4 capsules during your next cycle.

Hope that helps you !

Scarlett

Dear Powerpuff,

My ND recommends the powder kind, as long as it's from non-GMO sources (I think NOW is by far the cheapest brand).

I won't recommend dosage, 'coz I haven't used soy to help O.

Good luck

Unhappy Be careful

There is mounting evidence of the adverse effects of soy products. Please research these for yourself before using them.
