Default Threading & question about laser

I wanted to know if anyone has tried threading facial hair before.. I looked on the stickies but couldn't find any topics on it! I'm thinking about trying threading as an alternative to waxing because I've heard that it's better for people with sensitive skin.. I've been waxing my upper lip/chin for a while but it causes a lot of irritation.. I shave my chin every couple of days now and wax the upper lip but was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with threading they could share. How long did it last?/Were the results good?

Also, about laser, I'm thinking about getting it- but how effective is it on fine hairs? The hair on my upper lip and chin is mostly dark but it is also very fine. I just can't tell if I'm a good candidate.. I do have pale skin.. Has anyone had laser with fine hair? I don't really know if there's a lot of it, really, of course it SEEMS like a lot to me.. But I don't know. Funnily enough there's one side of my upper lip actually doesn't grow any hair at all. WEIRD, I know.. and my chin? I'd say theres about 20 hairs there.. though fine.. any help/advice would be appreciated!
