I started spotting this morning. We rushed to the RE & had an u/s but it was "inconclusive". Basically, there was a gestational sac but the u/s for some reason was very cloudy so I couldn't tell it there was a fetal pole & she didn't say anything. She said it looked good though. I have a huge subcronic bleed so it could be that. I also have a ton of cysts. At least 10 on the left side w/ the largest being 48mm & at least 2 on the right side w/ the largest being 43mm but the right side was very hard to get to.
They took b/w (beta & P4) but we won't get the results until Monday.
I knew this was too good to be true... How cruel is this, I pasted my last 2 pg's w/ spotting by 1 week & then I start spotting.

I'm sorry!
This must be really tough. I know the wait to find out that things may or may not work out is really tough. I only had to wait 24 hours and it was tough so I can't imagine how hard it must be to have to wait the entire weekend. I hope that your RE was just having an off day using the ultrasound machine and that there is nothing wrong. You have had too much heartache and it would be nice to see you continue with this pregnant successfully.
Good luck!
Traci I'm praying that you never need to post on this board again...that this baby is sticky and healthy and this was just a scare. If my prayers don't work though, I'm still here to listen. Hang in there, and please update us whatever happens.
(PS, the nurses at my US told me that at less than 7 weeks they very often can't find a heart beat and then a few days later, there it is, don't give up hope until there isn't any left.)
Hugs.

I think you should do nothing but relax and take care of yourself this weekend. There is no reason to think that it's over. There have been plenty of spotters and bleeders to go full term. (Heidi, are you around?) Take things very easy and try to hold out some hope until there is any reason to let it go. Moms do lots of worrying, and many of us have heartache to fuel it with, but it does NOT solve the problem. Try not to torture yourself needlessly.
I wish you could get your bloodwork results sooner!! But that is really the only way to know what might be happening, and to see that baby sometime next week. I really think seven weeks is the best time to see anything, and then it's usually a blob. Lucky people's docs have better u/s machines than mine and can see smaller ones, but we often can't see them until further along.
We're here for you,
Sheri

Traci when i saw you here i just about fell off my seat!!! I agree wholeheartedly with Sheri...dont try to fight monstors in the dark...as for her 'not saying anything'...she's not allowed to...so dont let that worry you. Youre better to get the experts opinion not a u/s technician...
i know its hard but try not to worry about things you dont know about yet...breathe, meditate and just try to relax...okay cyster! Pm anytime...
We're all here for you and waiting for updates...

DOn't give up yet, there is a good reason for your bleeding this time. I'm not sure how (if at all) a subchronic bleed effects a PG, but spotting in PG can happen and still be normal. I know for you in the past, this hasn't been the case, but try to remain calm and take it easy this weekend.
Thanks everyone. I know this can't be very good right now though. I have the darkest brown spotting that I've ever seen in my entire life. From my past experience, dark brown is bad....no matter what they tell you. I guess I'll just have to wait until Monday though to find out for sure. I also didn't wake up at all last night to pee so I know that's bad too...I went from going 4x's/night to going none at all....
Chris left to go get his stupid car today (it's a '75 Firebird that he bought from his Aunt & he's been fighting & waiting for her husband to fix it b/c there were some things that he said worked but he still can't even get it inspected so he went up w/ another friend that fixes cars to get it & bring it down here...it will be sitting in front of IL's house b/c the friend is a neighbor of IL's...at least it won't be in our driveway which is totally what I didn't want until it at least ran!). So I'm just sitting here on the couch today having a pity party by myself... It's so hard to think positive after having this happen 3 other times

Just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers, and I will be hoping for good news for you over the weekend. Please post and let us all know how it goes!
I am so sorry that you are having to endure this scary time. I know exactly how you are feeling. I too have experienced a lot of bleeding early in this pregnancy. I bled a lot bright red and dark brown blood from weeks 7 - 12, due to a sub-chorionic hemorrage too! The ER doctor told me that even though studies don't really prove whether or not bedrest helps, he said that if I were his wife that he would have me stay down on bedrest! I did just that and the bleed healed. It took a long time but, I am now 36w6d pregnant! Basically as he explained it to me, if you keep your heart at the same level of your uterus, gravity puts less pressure on the hemorrage and allows it a chance to heal. If your heart is higher, then it puts more pressure on the hemorrage. I hope that I explained it okay.
Do your best to try not to worry. I know that is so difficult! You and your precious baby are in our prayers. I pray that you will get great news tomorrow and get to see your precious baby's heart beating away on the u/s machine very soon.
If you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know. I wish that there was more that I could do for you.
Take care and God bless!

I just wanted to give you a ray of hope...this pregnancy started out rough. I had "low progesterone at 14" and the doc put my on 200mg suppositories...sure enough..started bleeding! And like you...any bleeding for me has never been "normal or good"...so I assumed the worst was happening AGAIN. Low and behold the little stinker was in there! I was bleeding....like going through pads! Not just spotting. Apparently the suppositories were irritating the hell out of my cervix...and thus the bleeding. I also had a fibroid, but that resolved itself on its own. Long story short. I threw in the towel a lot sooner than my little one, and sure enough....he/she is still doing fine at 27 weeks.
So, I hate to add to the old saying...."some people bleed and it can be ok".....I never believed it until it happened to me. I bled on and off (bright red and going through pads) until the 13th week, when I went off the suppositories.
Have faith! Fingers are crossed!

I have fabulous news!! My beta came back @ 4,283 & my P4 was "well over 100" according to the nurse. My RE said on Friday he thought it should be between 2-3,000 or so so I think 4,283 is a great #! He didn't have any recommendations as to what we could do to keep it going up but I already told Chris that my butt is glued to the couch for the week! The spotting has gotten better & even stopped for a bit last night so I'm hoping that it's the semi-bedrest that's helping.
Still need tons of prayers though so keep them coming!!

I am so glad to see your good news!!!!!!!!! I think that the bedrest is a great idea. Be sure to drink tons of water and enjoy being pampered! I am thrilled that your little one is staying sticky!
Thank God!
Try to relax now, and I know that isn't always easy.
Take care!
