I would urge anyone who is trying to get pregnant and who has thyroid disease to get this book: http://www.thyroid-info.com/pregguidetoc.htm
I had severe issues postpartum which caused me not to produce enough hormones to stimulate breastmilk production. I would encourage you all to educate yourselves in case something like this (heaven forbid) is a risk for you.
