Default Thyroid meds?

Which thryoid meds are used in PCOS? I have depression and anxiety, and have heard that thyroid meds can help with this....would it be T3 or T4 that would be used? ARgh I'm confused.

Default

T4 is converted to T3 (which is the active hormone)....so theoretically you could use either, provided that your body is properly making the conversion.

I take just T3, some people take just T4, others take a combination. So..it's just a matter of what works for you.
