My PCOS symptoms are becoming better after 6 month treatment with Met(1500) even my thyroid symptoms are really getting better. I am feeling very fine and very good. Is it true that metformin also can inhibit tsh secretion? Should I check my tsh again?

My THS went down from 5.2 to 1.7!!! I took only Met, nothing else. Whats happening? Is it healthy? Will this go down for more??? PLS HELP??? ANY BODY????

I have been getting my Thyroid checked every 6 weeks & meds adjusted until I had a normal level. You should be getting them checked to make sure they're w/in normal ranges.

Juli: That's great that it went down!! That means your Thyroid is trying to function normally!
