Default TickledPink - light therapy

Hey! I just thought I'd see how your light therapy is going. I've been using mine almost every morning for about 25 minutes. I find it easier to get up now. I don't know if it's helped with the depression though, since I changed my meds a bit. I'm sure it will be obvious to me next year though! Has yours helped you? How often do you use yours?

I "think" mine is working! lol!

I feel more awake after I use it.

I use mine every morning frirst thing for 20-25 minutes, usually while on on the laptop, or journaling.

I am definatly not as depressed etc, but I am on meds as well!

I do however live in the far north in Canada and at the darkest part of winter we have almost 24 hr night.

I can't wait till summer and we have 24hr daylight.

So I do think in the deepest darkest part of winter it really did help me out.

I use mine for about the same duration. I eat breakfast and read during that time. It's become a routine....it's nice to sit and relax for 20 minutes in the morning.

Yikes...I don't think I could handle that little daylight. But I'd love 24 hour daylight!

Glad to hear it's helping you out.

Midnight golf! I think I'd learn to play golf just to be in on that.

Yep....I think I've even been through the NWT before. (when I was a kid) We were on our way to Alaska. We got long daylight hours, but not 24hrs.

I don't recall liking golf that much either...but mini golf is fun!

I think it'll be ok as long as you have some dark curtains.

I only use mine in the morning around 9:30 or so. I haven't used mine in the afternoon...I thought it might mess up my sleep schedule. Hm...I should look in to that. I could definetly us a pick-me-up sometimes!!

Pink, I've been meaning to ask what lightbook therapy is? What does it do? What does it treat?
